The library in the temple of the fortune of wisdom was....well, well stocked....maybe? The Phoenix had apparently decided to stockpile knowledge for the upcoming apocalypse only accessible by those who knew what strata they wanted to access. Well, one could only hope they'd find what they were looking for.

Arriving at the Temple of Furukojin, Moshi Atena walked in looking for the nice Spider she met on her trip to Asakaze. "Konbanwa Kuchiki san. I hope Inari has blessed you this evening."

Tsugiharu bowed.

"Inari, yes. But I think it's the Wise One whose blessing we're going to need in here." he offered.

He peered into the rather dark room.

"Hm, did you bring a conelantern with you, Moshi-san?"

The Moshi shook her head. "I didn't think they would have such limited visibility." She sighed.

"Well they say that the Wise One lifts up the lantern to those who seek in the darkness." he said.

Then he produced a small conelantern.

"More practically, I went shopping this morning, and can provide some actual light." he offers.

"It does mean we'll need to stay close together Moshi-san. I did not think to buy two."

"I... I don't mind... besides 4 eyes are better than 2 right?" The Moshi smiled and blushed a bit. "Do you know where should we start....seems like an awful lot of information."

Tsugiharu shook his head.

"None indeed, I'm afraid. I'm actually rather surprised at the state of the library. Information loses it's value if it can no longer be located when needed." he offered.

He chuckled a bit.

"But I'm on world for the miai, not to apply for the position of head librarian. Why don't we start nearest the entrance and try a search pattern following the wall? That way, if he don't find what we need, we can at least easily pick back up where we leave off." he said.

The Moshi nodded. "Hai..." She said happily and excited for this new aspect she wants to study. "So... which should tackle first... Psychology or Neurology."

Tsughiaru considered that.

"Hm, let's try to find books on psychology." he decided. "Neurology might be a little too specialized for a library on a frontier world."

"Very well..." She looked around. "This might take time... are you good at finding things Kuchiki san?"

He chuckled a bit.

"I found a beautiful and intelligent Moshi on a nearly empty shuttle flight. Does that count?" he teased.

"I can accept that." The Moshi blushed. "Well Kuchiki san.. I shall follow your lead. Let's find the Kitsuki Yameko's A Guide through the Mind."

Tsugiharu smiled a bit.

"Ah, good to see you've done some initial research." he said, pleased that she was taking steps on her own towards her goal.

Per/Investigation, 15 vs. 20, Fail

He swept the conelantern around, looking at the various books. It felt like they were close to where it should be, but he didn't see the book.

The Moshi stood close to the Spider following his light. He may had not the luck to find it but the Moshi's keen eye found it. "AH!... Lucky! here it is." She smiled. "Let's find a place to read it."

Tsugiharu nodded and swept the area with the conelantern.

Eventually he uncovered a pair of chair shaped piled of books next to a table shaped pile of books.

"I think there might be some furniture under here. Well, that or someone is making an artistic statement." he suggested.

The Moshi giggled. "Maybe..." The Moshi sat down. "Let's see what we can learn." She squinted trying to read in such low light. "Fukurokujin enlighten us... give us some light."

Tsugiharu offered over the conelantern.

"It'll probably be a little bit easier if you hold the light in one hand, Moshi-san." he offered.

He took out his own densai, the glow of the screen making it easy to read in the darkness.

"I know Moshi-san has a deep appreciation for physical books, but it's hard to argue against the usefulness of devices that provide their own light."

"I do like the actual text. It is some nostalgia flipping the pages and the smell of the ink." She took her densai out of her bag. "Still the usefulness of Holobooks are beyond compare." She nodded as she took the lantern and investigated the book. "It is quite the rare find."

Tsugiharu raised an eyebrow at that.

"Is it indeed? I can't say I recall the text immediately from name alone." he said.

"It looks like a first edition." She noted. "Leave it to the Phoenix to conserve first editions. I can't find the code if I would like to download." The girl frowned.
