Moshi Atena wasn't much of a rider nor one for the need for speed, she decided to do some soul searching. Her favorite place, the library, where she can get lost for hours without end. She also needed to distract herself from the sadness in her heart knowing that her friend died defending her thanks to the notes in her densai. She sat in the library looking for a good book. Sadly she didn't find any of interest as always she was distracted during her search.

Nozomi walked around the library too in search of more readings. She had many with her already but there was always something more out there.

She fortunately left her embarrassing section before meeting up with another samurai presumably there for the miai. "Oh, hello," she announced at a hushed tone. "Has the miai treated you well?"

She looked at her bandaged arm then to the Lion girl. "Anooo... could be better..." The girl just smiled while whispering. "I am Moshi Atena."

"Do you need help with that?" the Kitsu offered. While she gave an introductory bow, she glanced for a scroll satchel on the Moshi briefly. "And I am Kitsu Nozomi, priestess of the Lion."

"No, it is just keeping the tender area covered while the marks go away. I thank you anyways." She bowed respectfully. "It is an honor to meet you Kitsu sama. What brings you to the library?"

"It's good to know that your arm is well enough then," the Kitsu replied with a soft smile. "As for my purpose here, I doubt it is much different from anyone else coming to a library."

She looked around and shrugged. "It is also a temple some people come to offer prayers, others to seek knowledge. I am here trying to do both... the many books compel me and... well my prayers become secondary."

"All come for knowledge, though. Well, I came for more reading than prayer, to really answer your question."

Nozomi put on a smile. "Have you found a match yet? It is a bit soon but we are almost a week in. There are several Crane and Spider here."

"I have meet a few people... and lost someone close last night." She shook her head. "I also may have lost another friend but for other reasons." She sighed. "One to death another to stupidity. I come here more for prayers rather than knowledge but got distracted by the many books."

"I am sorry to hear about the loss, in both cases," Nozomi said, dipping her head for a few moments out of sympathy. "I assume it had to do with that funeral I heard about earlier. I knew not the one who had passed, so I did not attend."

She smiled faintly. "Every bit of this life is about learning, right? We can do better and better at every opportunity."

"Ah... Hai... like not going on boat rides early in the night." The girl nodded. "An being courteous to people that want to help."

Nozomi nodded too. "Indeed. Say, if it's not too personal, who was this person you offended? Maybe I could help make amends, if you wanted me to?"

"You would do that for a stanger like me?" She brighten up a bit. "I sent him a message but I don't think he will call." She laughed. "I forgot to tell him who it was. He probably knows by now." Her frail mind spazzed out again rambling to the Kitsu. "Oh... you asked me his name... Kuchiki Tsugiharu, from the Spider Clan... But i already told you that." She chuckled sheepishly.

"I have not met him yet," Nozomi admitted. "An ally would not accept help from another ally? If that is the case, I'm not sure how I can approach him on your behalf."

Atena chuckled. "No worries... Kitsu san." She sighed. "Perhaps in another way Kitsu san... by listening to what happened and giving recommendations. Are you willing to do that?

Nozomi dipped her head. "I can promise to listen. What words I have will be determined after your story," she declared with a pleasant smile.

"Anoo... well... I have a sort side that tends to be a bit ... etooo... strong... no that's not the word... earthy... not earthy more fiery... and might have somehow wounded my relationship with him. She tend to speak her mind and she thinks of herself as my shield... she thinks that Kuchiki san is a bad influence and she basically told it to his face. I don't know if he will talk to me."

The Kitsu tilted her head. "You have another side to you? Most people do, unless you mean something else entirely." She took off her glasses, gave them a good rub, and then resettled them on her nose. "Why would she think he is a bad influence?"

The Moshi sighed. "I am worse than most. The medics in Starnest call it MPD." She took a breath and thought about it. "She thinks that he wants her to disappear. It may have been my fault that she thinks that. I left notes that may have made her think that."

"MPD," Nozomi echoed. She took a few moments to consider and then nodded. "What would be the motivation for him to do so? Do you want him to do so or is he trying to fit you to his ideal?"
