The Silver Fin Production had directed their heimen labour and technicians for the better part of the day to set up the stage for the show in a short amount of time. The Rumble Slam Arena was a wrestling show that often travelled to a different destination every week and had some of their programming aired on Miya News and Entertainment Network from time to time. The Crab production crew had developed a system where they could easily construct a stage in a short amount of time with trained efficiency. While the Akaboshi Sports Centre was meagre with its facilities, the production crew managed to transform it to fit their needs with a few sacrifices. Much of the equipment was cleared for the occasion. There were several rows of bleachers that were erected to surround a wrestling ring with three sets of ropes connected by posts found in each corner. They left an opening where an elevated entrance ramp led the way toward the wrestling ring, flanked by two gigantic holo-screens on both sides.

Word of the live show had gotten around the colony in short order and there was a large turnout as locals were sure to line up early to grab whatever available seat was free. There was a section of seats that were reserved for the participants of the miai near the front, although there were a few spare seats among the locals too. While the show hadn't started yet, it was under the impression that it would start soon enough as people either waited in their seats or attempted to make a quick late-minute trip to the concession stands.

Asako Mal-Chin was there early, up front and center. It wasn't often they got this kind of show in town! Maybe it'd be something like sumai? He'd read a lot about sumai.

Surely it'd be very educational if they wanted to secure seats for all of the miai participants!

Partly on a whim, Akodo Akihiko finds himself among the miai participants at the event. He's largely baffled by why it would be relevant to the miai, but Sage from 3rd Flight was a huge Rumble Slam fan and he hoped attending might help the touch of home sickness he was feeling. He purchases an overpriced -- but also oversized -- sugary drink as a welcome respite from the ubiquitous weak local tea and settles into a seat a few rows back from ringside, preparing to be more interested in his fellow miai participants than the official event.

Shizuku - who had also come entirely on a whim and as such was dressed much more casually than yesterday in her shorts and layered tank top combo (now with a jacket because rain) - spotted him as she came in with her own drink and scanned over the participants. She trotted down the seats and bowed once she reached his. "Akodo-san, good evening! Do you mind if I join you?"

The Lion's face reveals his pleasant surprise at seeing Shizuku again. "Of course, do please," he says happily, standing so she can more easily take a seat. Akihiko notices her attire, and she likely notices his eyes lingering.

"Thank you!" She slipped past him, not worrying too much about avoiding the faintest of accidental brushes of contact before she sat down. "It's good to see you again so soon! Excited for the match?"

No way was Ganbold missing somethin' cool like this. He was there, arms crossed, giant foam finger perched on one hand.

Satoru had heard of the wrestling event and decided it would be an interesting experience to say the least. Satoru had heard of the sport or entertainment before but he had never actually watched it performed. From what he understood it was almost like a play but with much more energy and displays of athletic prowess. Satoru looked forward to observing the event, he even brought his densai for taking notes. One would struggle to discern his excitement just by looking at him as his expression was as even and analytical as ever.

He entered the arena and saw how they had transformed the gym area the stage and lights and screen, he already had his densai out taking notes consumed a little in noting all the changes and procedures. He briefly noted the Crane he had met the other night at the arcade he thought about greeting her but she seemed otherwise occupied at the moment so he walked around for a minute taking notes.

The little bundle of vulpine energy was there. Of course he was. You really think he was going to miss the WRASSLIN!?!?!?!??!?!??!

Yet he did something he very rarely did. Pulled rank and took a seat in the front row.

Yul sat in the back row, near the aisle. He sat casually in his seat, wearing his leather jacket. And his sunglasses. Even though it was evening, and indoors.

With his arms crossed over his chest, his posture was perhaps a bit more foreboding than usual, although his smile kept it from being too foreboding.

Eriko was there, dressed in form-fitting black clothing and a black dress coat. She did come with a hastily made sign on a thick cut of holoslate that wasn't exactly fancy and only had the writing 'Delinquent Club 4 Life' on it. However, she hadn't predicted the rain so much and used it as a makeshift roof over her head instead on her way inside.

She did spot Yul among the seats and went to join in. "Hey, Shinjo-san," she said flashing a grin.

There some heimen crew who lingered around, either working the cameras and managing the wires, as well as provide some security so that nobody would jump the barricades. One of the Crab managing them was around, a grizzled and large Hida who looked like he was some years from retirement. He gave Tetsu a peculiar look over, especially the fact that he brought his own tools. "You should sit down, Fundai-san, this ring isn't going anywhere until after tomorrow."

Asako Ryo was here too, with a few of his friends. He wasn't too happy about getting the row of seats behind the miai guests. They were still good seats but sitting right in front would have been better. Do they even watch wrestling?

Reaching up, Yul tilted down his aviators enough to let Eriko see his brown eyes... and to better check her out as well. "Hey, Kuni-san. Looking good." He said, flashing her a grin right back.

"Fancy seeing you here." He nodded to the seat next to him. "You wanna join me? Pretty good seats, here." They weren't, except for their easy aisle access.

"Is this seat taken?" Koseki offered a bow to the Shinjo and gave Eriko a grin. "Hope you don't mind if I join you, it seems this is where the party's at."

The Firefly wore fairly neutral-coloured clothing that wasn't form-fitting like Eriko's but would be comfortable in combat or adventure time. "Big crowd. Good you see you Kuni-san, and you must be Shinjo Yul-san. I'm Hotaru Koseki." He pulled out a couple of pre-rolled cigs and offered them to the others.

It seemed that Hide didn’t feel like dressing up too fancy. Her military-issue skin-tight black top and combat pants definitely made her distinctly more marine-looking than previous outings. She just threw a casual jacket over this outfit and called it a day.

She glanced over the crowd, two familiar faces towards the back caught her attention. Back row seats were easy and usually mostly empty, so she took a seat a few down from the three that had gathered, but opted not to disturb them. Only giving them each a nod of recognition.

She'd get a nod in return, as well as a briefly raised fist; some sort of Unicorn salute, apparently.



Yul straightened in his seat enough to give a seated bow, then leaned back again. "Pleasure to meet you, Hotaru-san." Smiling, he waved a hand in casual refusal of the cigarette.

Akemi crashed in the sit next to Hide, wearing the exact same suit as usual, and carrying a big cardboard sign with the words: CRUSH! BREAK! ANNIHILATE!

"Ready to rumble?" she asked the Matsu.

She also waved enthusiastically at the other people she recognized.

The Crane arrived in Dress Uniform....clearly not understanding what a Rumble Slam was but figuring it was some sort of social event. Ishiyo stuck out like a sore thumb in the crowd of fans....
