Post subject: [D5 EE] Side Event: The Asakaze Championship
PostPosted: Fri Sep 11, 2020 12:23 pm
Rumble Slam Arena is easily the most popular Crab program created by the Silver Fin Production that even sees holo-vid distribution outside of the Crab Clan. Taking the sport of sumai and wrestling, the Crab Clan have managed to propel the popularity of the sport by giving their wrestlers characters and involving them in storylines to give purpose to their match. Often the wrestlers are divided into smaller factions who vie for dominance in the league against each other or climb the ranks to win a championship belt. While like theatre, some of the events and outcomes of the matches are scripted, nobody can deny the strength and endurance required to take part in these matches.

In addition to their exhibition match, the Rumble Slam Arena has also gifted a custom belt to the colony of Shiro Yoake, the Asakaze Championship belt. To search for the first deserving champion of the build, the league has held an exhibition tournament, open to all locals and visitors of Shiro Yoake. The first Asakaze Champion must show that they are a worthy wrestler, sportsperson and especially, entertain the crowds.

Step One: Choose your opponent

Each respective challenger is given a quick course in wrestling fundamentals before they are paired with an opponent of their choice. Their chosen opponent will determine the difficulty of the match and the final outcome. The difficulties based on the choice will be listed in each subsequent roll. Wrestlers must stay with the same wrestler for the whole match.

Basic talents: Basic talents in the league is made up of young wrestlers, wrestlers who have recently joined the league or ronin wrestlers who have been hired for this job. Their purpose is to make the other talent look strong and hardly put up much of a real offensive in their matches.

The Booking Script: Wrestlers going against basic talent will win the match narratively regardless of the rolls and do not affect the value of the rolls.

League talents: League talents are the general wrestlers of the league who have established themselves in Rumble Slam Arena with a few notable victories but don't currently hold any champion belt nor are currently in the running contenders. Hiruma Chiyoko is an example of league talent. Despite that, they are all formidable wrestlers and pose a greater challenge to their opponents, especially to novice wrestlers.

The Booking Script: Wrestlers going against league talent will only win the match narratively if they pass all their rolls. This does not affect the value of the rolls. If they do pass all of their rolls, they gain +0.1 Glory.

Step Two: Promotion

As a wrestler, they must run some self-promotion on themselves in order to hype up the match for the audience. This can come in the form of giving a personality or creating a character for the audience to find an appeal too. Alternatively, this can be done in form of an interview or presentation where the wrestlers talk about their strengths or their opponent's weaknesses in comparison.

Wrestlers may choose to either roll Acting/Awareness or Perform: Oratory/Awareness for this segment. On success, the wrestler is given one Pop Point and one additional for each successful raise called.

Basic Talent: TN15
League Talent: TN17

Step Three: Punches, Kicks, and Strikes

At the start of the match, the wrestler must get down to fighting with their opponent. Punches, kicks and strikes are allowed in professional wrestler yet don't have as much effectiveness. However, they can still appear to be impressive in how hurtful they might look. The wrestler must be able to throw a strike that looks damaging to get a rise from the crowds.

Wrestlers must roll Jujitsu/Agility on their opponent. On success, the wrestler is given one Pop Point and on additional for each successful raise called.

Basic Talent: TN15
League Talent: TN17

Step Four: Wrastlin'

As the match progresses and the wrestlers have softened up their opponent, they must get to performing some impressive wrestling moves to wow the crowds. Wrestling requires a feat of strength, especially in more complicated moves off the top rope, jumping and flipping or ones that slam their opponent by picking them up.

Wrestlers must roll Athletics/Strength on their opponent to achieve a move of their choosing. On success, the wrestler is given Two Pop Point and on additional for each successful raise called.

Basic Talent: TN15
League Talent: TN17

Step Five: Endurance and Bumps

While the wrestling is scripted and choreographed, the physical dangers are real. Some moves can be pulled but the wrestlers do endure some punishment to their bodies. The challenge is also going through with the matches while maintaining the demanding pace to keep the excitement going, regardless if the wrestler is on the offensive or taking the bumps.

Wrestlers must make a raw Stamina roll at TN10. Dice do explode for this roll and the number of raises is limited by the wrestler's Void stat. On success, the wrestler is given one Pop Point and on additional for each successful raise called. If risks are taken and the wrestler misses their target number roll by 10 or more, a botch happens and the wrestler takes 3k1 damage. This damage is considered taken at the end of the match and the wound penalties will not affect any other rolls.

Optional Step: Villian Move

Wrestlers may choose to purpose break the rules of a wrestler by doing a villain move. This may include a number of things such as striking their opponent with a weapon while the referee's back is turned, using the ropes/post to your advantage, showing cowardice or having someone run interference so that they could get the better of their opponent (just name a few). While this happens all the time in professional wrestling, it paints the wrestler is a villain and loses favour with the audience. However, this still entertains them differently as it rallies the audience to boo at the Villain.

Wrestlers may replace either Step Two, Three or Four with this optional step. The wrestler rolls Stealth/Agility at TN20 (all wrestlers). On success, they are rewarded one Pop Point and one for each successful raise called. This replacement is chosen before all rolls are made, so there are still only a total of 4 steps taken in this event.

Outcome
The Wrestler who competes against Basic talent and accumulates the most Pop Points manages to impress the local audiences and earns them +0.2 Glory. They are considered a prospective talent and given further lessons in Wrestling, giving them either a point in Jujitsu if they don't have the skill yet or 1 xp to be only used toward further buying the skill or related emphasis.

The Wrestler who competes against League talent and accumulates the most Pop Points manages to get the most reaction for the crowds. They are crowned the first Asakaze Champion and bestowed an orange belt made with synthetic leather and decorated with gold plates. Their match is recorded and broadcast on the next episode of Rumble Slam Arena. This belt grants the champion +1k0 on all rolls done for entertainment purposes in a wrestling ring. The champion also gains +0.5 Glory.

The runner-up against League talent has their match also recorded and aired, awarding them +0.3 Glory

Professional wrestling, eh? Well, if anything this might be a good way to improve his image with the Crab. And so, he went to meet with the bookers in charge of the event and submitting himself to appear on the show. He is an excellent listener and after working with their resident director of Creative, he's decided to take on the moniker "The Carrion King" and take on a bird aesthetic for his character.

With the promotional portion starting, Geppu dressed in all black with a cloak of ebon bird feathers, and with a pair of bright yellow contacts in his eyes. He was shrouded in darkness, the faint 'caw'ing of corvids piped in low in the background. The lights were slowly brought up until the bright yellow shine of his eyes reflecting from the light could be seen. He spoke in a harsh whisper, staring directly into the recording device. "Rumble Slam Arena...too long have I sat in the shadows and watched as you squabble and fight for your title belts and try to solve your petty problems. Tonight, I am coming to take what is mine...and you will all fear The Carrion King..." The sound of the corvids pipes in once more and Geppu begins to quietly chuckle as the lights slowly lower once more, leaving the last sight the gleam of his eyes before the promo ends.

His entrance theme is fitting for the anti-hero persona and is a sort of dark omen to his appearance, coming out dressed in a pair of black brief trunks, knee and elbow pads, and his long black cloak. Smoke comes up through the stage and shrouds him as he walks down the ramp, eventually entering the ring against his opponent. Once he steps through the ropes, he throws off the cloak, revealing a full back tattoo of a spread-winged crow, tips of its feathers, claws, beak, and eyes all jade-ink. He stands opposite his opponent, Koan Kenji, a fellow tattooed as a Togashi monk.

The match is fairly high paced, with the strikes of the match having plenty of impact accented by slaps to the leg for the pop, and the pulled blows do their job in providing adequate entertainment, though nothing special. At one point during the match, Koan Kenji ascends to the top turnbuckle after slamming down the King with a powerslam and signals to the crowd that he is going to execute his high-flying finishing maneuver, the Wisdom of the Mountains to a seemingly winded and fatigued King...but it was all a ploy! The King moved at the last second with renewed vigor as his opponent slammed into mat after his attempted moonsault, leaving him vulnerable!

Stalking his opponent like he was a wounded animal, the King waited for his moment for his foe to shakily rise before applying his devastating submission finisher, the Dark Wing, a standing crossface that ended with his opponent writhing in pain on the mat, tapping out and ending the match as victory for The Carrion King!
----
(Match is against League talent! Promotional roll is a success with a 17, scoring a Pop point. Punches, kicks, and strikes roll is a success with a 20, scoring a Pop point. Endurance and bumps is a success with a 10, scoring a Pop point. The Wrastlin' roll is a success with a 42(!), earning two Pop points and giving the narrative victory to Geppu!)
Total Pop Points scored: 5
Glory Gain: +0.1

EE5 - The Asakaze Championship - League Opponent - Damage Roll (3k1): 3d10o10k1 13

Wrestling sounded fun. A chance to relax by getting into a fist fight with someone. And feeling confident in his training, stepping up against a League Opponent sounded good.

The point of the performance escaped him. Getting into the ring, he showcased he was a technical fighter. Efficient strikes, jabs, and kicks.

Tryjng to get fancy in the actual wrestling portion, his oppnent had a decent lock on him. He could have tapped out, he could have saved face.

The next thing he knew, he was thrown from the ring...

"OH MY KAMI! HE EXPLODED THROUGH THE TABLE! THE MASKED RONIN JUST KILLED THE SPIDER PRINCE!"

Ryuu looked up from the shattered remnants of the table around him; icy blues focused on the ceiling of the arena.

"... ow."

Atena decided to test her skill with the more prominent wrestler. She explained how she has the ability to kick butt and that people underestimate her strength. The girl was categorized as the underdog of the league. The Moshi's start was bad as she tried to do a grapple to her opponent but it was too fast for her. The opponent won tying up the Moshi to the ropes but the Moshi showed a small feat of strength getting lose from the grapple. The opponent had more energy than the Moshi pinning her down. ONE... TWO... THREE.

Koryn goes all out in his try out for wrestling, he makes a bit of a hammy show trying to Heel during the promo, and while his wrestling itself is quite efficient, he has neither the strength nor stamina to back it up. Still he does decently well.

The Silent... uh... The Silent Lady.

Yes, that would be a cool nod to Otaku herself. Popular with the Unicorns, no doubt.

Though, she hadn't really thought through how to actually play to the crowd of being The Silent Lady, so she settled for intimidating poses to show off her physique. The background music probably helped set the tone for what was going to happen; the introduction of a villain! Silent, mysterious, you could basically fill in the blanks!

As for the actual fighting though, it was passable! Nothing amazing, but enough for League-level. Not only the kicks and punches, but even the lifts, and wrestling, and locks! The Silent Lady was getting people a little riled up. Especially when it looked like she was taking a savage beating.

Having seen the show the other day, and understanding that it was all about showmanship at the core, in a plot-twist...

"OH MY KAMI! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE SILENT LADY JUST USED THE CHAIR! SUCH A VILLAINOUS MOVE AGAINST HER UNSUSPECTING OPPONENT! THE CROWD IS GOING WILD!!"

The Silent Lady posed once more, wincing only a little bit at the pain. The match was over; and a new villain had risen.

From somewhere Izumi had found/made/bought/begged a green and orange wrestling outfit with a matching mask/hood and cape. Despite his complete lack of experience at anything other than sheer exuberance he made a point of taking on a 'proper fighter' as he called them.

Then came the introduction interview as the Mysterious Masked Fox approached the backstage announcer. there was the first mistake. Announcer was very tall, the Masked Fox was very small. It didn't make good Holo-viewing despite the verve and excitement.

"So . . . Mysterious Stranger, just how do you plan to counter the Sake House Dragon's moves? He's well known for his athletic ability and high risk style."

The little wrestler grabbed the mike and excitedly shouted down it.

"IWILLDESTROYHIM. THEFLYINGFOXWILLNOTBEDEFEATED. NOTTHISDAY, NOTANY!!!!!"

Even the announcer seemed to have difficulty understanding that, but then the entrance music began.

The Sake House Dragon vs The Flying Fox. Cruiserweight Division. Scheduled for one fall or submission.

Barely had the ref checked them out and called for the bell to start the fight and The Flying Fox lived up to his name, bouncing into the ropes at speed and hurling himself at The Sake House Dragon with a flying clothesline. Down went The Sake House Dragon and The Flying Fox went for a quick pin. But only a two count!!!

They traded blows, the Flying Fox on the attack. High risk, high energy moves from each of them and eventually the Sake House Dragon was down in the centre of the ring . . . but instead of the pin, The Flying Fox leapt on to the turnbuckle and executed a Shooting Star Leg Drop finisher!!! Was it over??? It was not!! The Sake House Dragon saw it coming and rolled out, letting The Flying Fox faceplant into the centre of the ring. He collapsed onto his smaller opponent, executing the pin as the ref slapped the ring three times and the bell ended the match.

He may have lost but he had given his all and neither were injured. Vulpine Excitement Level off the charts!!!!!

It had taken some conning on someone's part, but the Crane fighter pilot made an appearance in the ring. Offered a chance to join the basic league, Ishiyo scoffed. She was not basic by any stretch of the imagination. Selecting an outfit to match her grace, she appeared in something more befitting a dancer then a wrestler.

One look at her and the promoter, after pounding his head into the wall for a solid five minutes, had an ingenious plan. Interviews were set up, calls were made, and everything was put into place.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, TONIGHT WE HAVE A VERY SPECIAL MATCH FOR YOU! ENTERING THE RING FOR HER DEBUT MATCH: THE MARQUISE OF HERONS!"

Image

Ishiyo bounded down the ramp and then up onto the stage, rising to her tip toes and then bowing. The picture of grace and beauty.

"AND TONIGHT SHE IS CHALLENGING THE ONE, THE ONLY, THE MUSICAL MANSLAYER, THE OCTAVE OF OBLITERATION: HIDA ASAHI!"

Image

Asahi marched onto the stage, with a full band playing in the background. Hoping over ropes, she causally tossed her baton over her shoulder and into the crowd. At least five people were injured in the scramble for it.

She laughs contemptuously at the Heron nobility, "Oh...this is what you drag me out here for? Well strumpet I will have you dancing to my tune soon enough!"

So began the battle. The Heron staying quick on her feet, slipping in and out to strike at Asahi. For much of the match it looks like the fight will be more a dance then a real fight...until the Marquise spins and hits the ropes, bouncing off to land a solid strike with her elbow to Asahi. The crowd roars its approval!

With the initial bit of warm up over, the real match begins. While at this point the crowd expected only the most elegant of moves for a finisher. What they got instead was pure raw aggression. Slipping under her tired opponent the Lady Heron grabs her opponents legs and lifts her up flipping Asahi vertical and then falling back to slam the Hida head first into the ring. But she is slow to capitalize on this and the Hida is on her.

"WELL FOLKS LOOKS LIKE ITS OVER. AN AMAZING SHOWING BY THE MARQUISE OF HERONS BUT NOTHING IS AS WELL ARMORED AS A HIDA'S HEAD!"

"NANI SORE?!" Came a scream from the ring.

++++++

Ishiyo coughed and blood came with it. "Oh...what possessed me to do that." Another cough and more blood.

"You could have told us what shape you were in." The furious medic chided her, taking the young Crane to an aide station.

Ishiyo managed a laugh, "The show must go on!" Then she passed out.

Wearing a white leotard, matching jacket, skirt, and boots, Fusako was all set for her match. She didn't really realize she was supposed to hype herself up, so she just went out to do her thing. Her strikes ended up looking a bit weak, which was hardly a surprise given she'd only done jiutjutsu for training, but she ended up pulling off a few impressive moves, and took the bumps of the match in stride. She still ended up losing, but it was a good work out.

Nozomi quickly looked up an online generator for wrestling names. She picked one that seemed fun enough and kind of cool: Knock Out. Seeing as she had no experience with it at all, she went into the Basic League.

When it was her turn, she stepped up and immediately regretted her situation. "Hi, I'm, uh, Nozomi... I mean Knock Out!" she squeaked. She looked at the announcers and shook her head instead of continuing any further.

Still, somehow, the crowd was willing to watch her fight against the local Phoenix 'bully.' Apparently, this bully was always talking down to everyone. So Nozomi was able to muster as much strength as she could to go for a jump-punch down onto her opponent. Of course she knew that it was supposed to be fake but it was still cool!

Apparently, her opponent knew to take the dive then. Nozomi mounted on top of her and managed to stay on top of her opponent without making a total fool of herself in more ways than one.

When the bell was rang, Nozomi got to her feet and waved her hands in a somewhat ridiculous fashion. She smiled, forgetting for a moment that she had done well at a random wrestling thing instead of the miai. Whoops.

“Fear me, for I am the Red Menace!” the masked man in a red loincloth bellowed while shaking both fists in the air. The crowd cheered as the new contender started pummeling his opponent with a series of punches and kicks, each punctuated by a loud kiai.

The cheers turned to boos, however, when the Red Menace grabbed the chair from his corner of the ring and broke it over his opponent’s head. The referee, who apparently was nearsighted and nearly deaf, demanded to know what happened. The crowd yelled accusations, but the Red Menace simply declared, “I didn’t do it” - all the while hiding his right hand, still holding part of the chair leg, behind his back. Forced to accept the Menace’s flat denial as testimony, the referee allowed the match to continue.

With the Red Menace forced to fight with one hand behind his back, the nameless opponent started getting in a few good punches. The Menace was starting to look wobbly when his opponent suddenly realized he was doing too well, and threw himself to the mat - apparently knocked out by a powerful punch from the Red Menace that had been too fast for anyone to perceive.

Heedless of the crowd’s continued booing, the Red Menace discarded the chair leg and raised his arms in triumph.

Ruhe declared he'd lay down the metal law, but there was a spirit of disbelief in the audience.

EE5. League. Promotion. Oratory. VP. 3R. TN32. Laying Down the Metal Law!: 5d10o10k4 30 [0 Points]

He wanted to present his best smash! Alas, it fell flat. And he also fell flat. And hence, he was boo'ed. That wasn't Ruhe's best day, but hey, what don't kill ye, makes ye more strong!

EE5. League. Kicking Jiujutsu. 3R. TN32. Beating into Submission.: 5d10o10k4 23 [0 Points]

Such failure would dismay many, but not Ruhe! If he failed, he failed big! Being remembered for all the wrong reasons is also being remembered!

EE5. League. Athletics. Strength. Daredevil. VP.. 3R. TN32. Squish!: 6d10o10k3 23 [0 Points]

And the beating he took was indeed of epic proprotions!

EE5. League..Bumps. Stamina. 3R. TN25.: 2d10o10 4 [0 Points]

EE5. League..Bumps. Damage!: 3d10o10k1 16

Spitting out blood, he rose:

"Broken, beat and scarred, we die hard!"

And he took out hi fiddle right after his fight, and delivered!

EE5. Fluff Fiddle. 3R. TN+5 Wounds.: 8d10o10k5 73

Quote:
You rise, you fall
You're down, then you rise again
What don't kill you will make you more strong
You rise, you fall
You're down, then you rise again
What don't kill you will make you more strong
Rise, fall down, rise again
What don't kill you will make you more strong
Rise, fall down, rise again
What don't kill you will make you more strong
Through black days
Through black nights
Through pitch black insights

Breaking your teeth on the hard life coming
Show your scars
Cutting your feet on the hard earth running
Show your scars
Breaking your life broken, beat & scarred
We die hard!

Maybe he wouldn't become a pro wrestler, but it wouldn't ever stop him from living life to the fullest.

Nara wasn't a professional wrestler. She was an actress, who didn't understand what wrestling was before a nice Seppun taught her the day before. Still! she wanted to give it a try!

The coaches looked at the girl with skepticism, not believing that she really wanted to be in here, but let her stay in the end. She got prepared, and when it came to promotion and walking to the ring Nara shone. She came out like a buzz of energy, skipping and playing to the crowd. She even looked the part of a crazy babyface, the crowd eating out of her hand as she skipped and spoke. Her natural acting talent even had the other wrestlers drawn in on it.

The rest of the event proved her weaknesses. She wrestled in a way that kept her headwear on as best she could, which meant she didn't do very good on the lifts, the falls, or the bumps. Thankfully she and others didn't get hurt though! She even got the win with an odd looking armbar that risked hurting the person she was doing it on.

(OOC: Basic league!

Akemi jumped on the ring overflowing with confidence. This was her moment, what she was born for.

"Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to your new champion, the Jade Hand!"

She put on display a fist very clearly covered in a hastily painted neon green glove which was a tad bit ridiculous even for the wrestling scene:

Image

"For too long have the dark gals and guys from the dark realm of darkness cast a dark shadow over the good people. It's time for their face to meet a fist of jade!"

Somehow that perfect introduction failed to find its audience, and people actually started encouraging her opponent, in spite of her being a very obvious heel, all dressed in black and white.

Must be a Spider's plot thought Akemi. No importance. She will just trash her opponent so awesomely even with that handicap they will have to accept her supremacy.

What Akemi had forgotten however was that she had done tremendously exhausting physical efforts all morning and that her body was now running on adrenaline alone.

As soon as the fight started she was the one to get thoroughly trashed, no pity, no compromise.

"ARE. YOU. REEEEAAADY. FOR. DRAMAAAAAAAA?"

With a microphone in hand The Red Lantern burst onto the stage as the announcer was asking Ichiro Homeboy about his favourite ikebana display.

"BOOOOOOORRRRRIIIIIIING! NOBODY LIKES YOUR FLOWERS HOMESCHOOL!!!"

The Red Lantern grabbed the decorative flowers on the announcers' table and dumped them over Ichiro's head. He hoped they weren't poisonous but didn't think about that in the heat of the moment.

"THE RED LANTERN'S GONNA KICK YOU, KICK YOU!"

There was a mixed assortment of cheering and jeering, booing and laughter. This is what it's all about, he thought as he leapt into the ring. The Red Lantern started waving his arms around at the crowd, getting them to increase their volume. He was loving this...

And then Ichiro Homevoy leapt into the ring and showed off all his martial arts moves. The home crowd always loves to see their boy do his best, and The Red Lantern could barely keep up. Of course, it was all part of their plan, even if Ichiro was a bit too liberal with his punches. They hadn't discussed the flowers in the face...

Just as it looked like Ichiro had the match sewn up The Red Lantern turned up the skill. With a deft sweep he knocked his opponent to the group and delivered a fake elbow to the groin. A chorus of "Ooooooh!" was followed by angry jeers. He quickly climbed onto the nearest corner post.

"THE RED LANTERN SAYS...LIGHTS OUT!"

Leaping back into the ring he (softly) landed a classic hammer kick before pinning the local boy and winning the match. He hadn't quite triumphed but it had been a heck of a lot of fun!

With head held high The Red Lantern returned to the dressing room where he found a few extra bruises but no serious damage.

Shion is not a Wrestler by any stretch of imagination, so she doesn't even consider going for the League Talent. She tries to at least give a compelling interview at the start, but falls short. She does actually hits some punches, although it's not a particularly remarkable performance. Surprisingly - even for herself - she does pretty well in the Wrestling part, although she doesn't take any risks. Neither does she take any unnecessary risk of getting wounded during the fight, and she gets out relatively unscathed.

It's... a better performance than she would have expected overall - although her speech at the start was quite frustrating.

D5 EE - Asakaze Championship - Basic talent - Promotion. VP Spent. (Guessing Voice doesn't apply here as not listed, even though it's an Oratory roll?). Sensation for Phantom Skill Rank. 2 CR. TN 25: 5d10o10k4 21 - Fail

((WRONG ROLL! Mixed up 2nd and 3rd parts; disconsidering this one
D5 EE - Asakaze Championship - Basic talent - Punching. Jujutsu/Str TN 15: 2d10k2 9))

D5 EE - Asakaze Championship - Basic talent - mixed up rolls! re-rolling Punching. Jujutsu/Agi TN 15: 3d10k3 16 - Success! 1 Point...

D5 EE - Asakaze Championship - Basic talent - Wrestling. Agility/Str TN 15: 3d10o10k2 27 - Success! 1 point

D5 EE - Asakaze Championship - Basic talent - Endurance and Bumps. Stamina TN 10: 2d10o10k2 17 - Success! 1 point

The wrestling event drew relatively a good number of locals to the show, glad to see some live entertainment in Shiro Yaoke. There were many cheers as they saw both known and new wrestlers competing against each other. Despite not being household names, the new wrestlers manage to draw some reaction from the crowds. There were cheers given to Knockout as she made her decisive win against her opponent and some groans of sympathy when the Marquise of Herons took her terrible bump, medics quickly rushing her out in short order.

However, it was the Silent Lady that drew the ire from the crowds. The underhanded tactic she used to win her match didn't make her popular but instead drew intense heat!

Image

Kaiu Keiichi got into the ring and addressed the crowds. "Thank you for having us and being part of the show, everyone! Shiro Yaoke has been wonderful for the Rumble Slam Arena and we hope to be back! Now the moment you've waited for...We've had a lot of great matches tonight but there can only be ONE Asakaze Champion! Put your hands together for...the SIIIIIIIILENT LADY and YOUR Asakaze Champion!"

The crowd did not clap but they were incensed! Boos filled the space when Utaku Hyeon-ju was presented her championship belt.

Image

"Hey! Silent Lady!" The Menace called out to her as her gigantic image showed up on the Wrestletron. "Real nice work getting that belt...but don't think that makes you safe. If anything, now you have a big nice target on your back! You'd better sleep with ONE eye open..." she said while pointing at her red eye.

The Menace cackled and then the Wrestletron went black.

Glory Gains
Susumu Geppu: +0.1
Utaku Hyeon: +0.6 and Asakaze Champion!
Daidoji Ishiyo: +0.3
Kitsu Nozomi: +0.2 and 1xp worth of Jujitsu skill!
