Just to be clear Sage Rolls and Rolls where we spend Void for the skill are both considered "Skilled rolls" and not "Unskilled rolls" for this rule correct?

Yeah, Phantom Rank is still a Rank. The moment Sage (or Sensation) applies or you spend Void, point, the roll is no longer unskilled.

Woof. Tough question on many levels as I debate how Moon-Cake might have found their way into historical relevance in L5R.

I would say that we might have just missed the moon-cake season as it would have run at the beginning of the month. There are still some stocks of it sitting around if one looks for them, as stores are trying to shed the remaining product in their bargain bin. They can be bought on the cheap for 5 zeni a box.

However...flavours are few. You're left with boxes with 2 to 4-egg moon cake or just nut moon cake.

Can I (or any other shugenja) continue to reattempt Importune/casting spells in the same time slot if we fail the first time?

Double post! I was considering using Kitsu Rank 1 on others to... see if they are suitable candidates for marriage. What are the social customs regarding doing this? Would it be a mega breach in honor or generally acceptable?

I don't see why not, as long as you have spell slots.

TN 25... and requires you to have the Antidote emphasis as per core.

Maybe not quite as bad, but not something people experience regularly and so might be not happy with.

A question about the end of the miai (must be prepared, it'll be there soon).

Let's imagine there are only four candidates in that order of Courtship Points: A, B, C, D.

If A chooses B, is B removed from the list even if they had initially planned to marry either C or D? And C left to choose between D and marrying a NPC?

In other words, can you counterpick a spouse to fizzle a possible alliance?

Yes. But then B might slap A with Bitter Betrothal as per the rules. And besides the NPCs running around, we have a list of NPC's for people to pick from on D12.
