Isawa Makoto (20) | Status 1 [Chosen by Iuchi Joo-Woo]
Isawa Makoto is also a resident on Asakaze and the young-man has been born without gift of the kami known in his Family. He has taken to the path of bushi and trains hard to hone himself in that pursuit. As a person, he is rather eager to prove himself and never balks from any task given to him. However, despite his hard work and potential, he has yet to see some real combat. Most of his experience as a bushi comes from colony patrol and local security. He might do well in a family that could enrich his experience. His favourite activities include recreational hunting and study of the Fortunes.

Daigotsu Takeshi (22) | Status 2
Despite his young age, Takeshi is a season veteran of many battles, having been present at Umisaki III where the Spider forces ambushed and killed the Crab clan champion in 3120. Having since suffered grievous injuries during the pacification of NWH-1013 Takeshi has had to retire from active service and is not studying to become a quartermaster, his lack of a leg less of a problem behind the lines. Pained by what might have been, the young man has found a refuge in faith, living an ascetic life while spending much of his free time meditating and studying philosophical texts.

Asako Nana (21) | Status 1 Chosen by Asako Mal-Chin]
Born and bred on Asakaze, Asako Nana is a devout scholar and herpetologist. Nana is in the process of finishing her thesis on the southern red ringed nullsnakes. Determined to study the local in its natural environment the young woman is a seasoned woodsman, equally at home at both the thick mycotid forests and the local libraries. Nana hopes to settle on the world of her birth, though as a third child of her house she knows she doesn't really have much say in the matter.

Yasuki Masuko (21) | Status 1 [Chosen by Isawa Sora]
Yasuki Masuko is a friendly and kind courtier. Her home planet is the Green Carp, a fertile world governed by the Yasuki. She is approachable and outgoing in public, which is a great boon as a courtier and diplomat. However, she seems to have rejected the Fortunes and all aspects of Traditional religion in favour for a dead gaijin belief. When given the chance, she will espouse its rather peculiar values and beliefs. She believes in strict moral tenant regarding fidelity at all costs.

Shinjo Chun-Hua (18) | Status 1
Shinjo Chun-Hua is an enthusiastic digital gamer and has represented her Clan proudly as several competitions around the Galaxy. She loves competition and often demands much of her teammates to keep up, holding everything at a high standard. However, despite her talents and growing fame, her parents are not too enthusiastic about her pursuit. Her hand in marriage has been presented at the miai in hopes that she finds a suitable bushi who might align her back to what her schooling and lineage has intended.

Miya Haruto (19) | Status 4 [Chosen by Yasuki Nishida]
Miya Haruto is a tall, soft-spoken courtier with a gentle nature. Wealthy and blessed with a faultless pedigree the young man would fit well among the Otomo were he also not rather shy, both his parents and his sensei rather disappointed with him, even if he passed all of his exams with flying colors. Currently the young man serves as an apprentice to Miya Megumi, an almost senile courtier and nakado way past her prime. Perhaps surprisingly, Haruto is also known for being an award winning and rather consumed scale model artist.

Miromoto Minami (21) | Status 1 [Chosen by Susumu Geppu]
Mirumoto Minami is a keen-eyed prodigy of the Kaneyama Dojo who serves her clan as a yojimbo and a duelist. Brave to the point of being brazen, Minami is known both for her temper and her quick hands, having won no fewer than two duels during her first assignment, a remarkable achievement even if she lost her third duel a similarly promising young Crane swordsman. Everyone agrees that the young woman has all it takes to become one of the finest duelists of the century, though only time will tell if she can fulfill the expectations placed on her.

Shiba Akimitsu (24) | Status 2
Shiba Akimitsu is a Phoenix soldier who serves aboard the Suma, one of the security guncrafts patrolling around Asakaze. He manages the training of younger bushi and running live drills. Rather straight and narrow in personality, he has a closer relationship with his duty than anyone. However, his colleagues have noticed that he has taken a hobby with collecting wood carvings from several worlds. He has not volunteered his hand in marriage but rather it was put in by his commanding officer as he has not taken any effort in finding a spouse yet.

Asako Nagi (20) | Status 1
Asako Nagi is one of the residents of Asakaze and the youngest son to chief engineer Asako Kishi. He is also one of the members of Asako Ryo's circle of friends. Nagi takes after his father's image as an adept engineer and one of the contributors to the efficiency module used in the Robotics Rally. He has a love of mochi and sweets which shows very obviously. Despite that, he does have a friendly and approachable air about him, as well as more than a handful of corny jokes.

Mirumoto Kino (17) | Status 1
Miruomoto Kinu is a young Dragon bushi from the Skycastle who has recently completed his gempukku and his parents had fast-tracked his marital affairs. Kinu is known as a talented bushi and has earned the praises of his sensei but unfortunately is known to stutter when nervous. It is suspected that his parents might be riding on his successful gempukku and quickly marry him before his flaw might cost him further on his career. It seems this stutter only appears whenever he is made flustered, which happens when he is confronted by beautiful women.

Shiba Orihime (18) | Status 1 [Chosen by Isawa Saneyuki]
Shiba Orihime is the eldest daughter to Shiba Toshiaki, owner of the Starcade on Asakaze. The community had known her since a child, using her free time to help around at the Starcade wherever possible until she was sent to training. Upon her return, she has found the arcades rather tiresome and alien, yearning for a more established and mature life. She still maintains her father's knowledge in commerce and hopes to open her own business. Her aspirations are in the business of selling clothing and fashion accessories.

Yoritomo Sakuya (19) | Status 2
Yoritomo Sakuya hails from New Kalani and has shown much potential among the ranks of the magistrates at a young age. However, the yoriki has found been found to be brash and reckless in her ways, perhaps too passionate in his job when she finds herself right. Her superiors have found her a handful and she has found life under the sea rather suffocating. She hopes that she could move above the seas and perhaps raise above the ranks so that no one can question her again.

Ikoma Izumi (22) | Status 1 [Chosen by Hida Akemi]
Ikoma Izumi is a young widower and single mother of a two year old daughter. Short as she is cheerful, the Ikoma courtier lost her husband in the Crossroads system a little bit over year ago. Currently Izumi is serving her clan as an assistant to a senior diplomat while working alongside the merchant patrons of the diplomatic mission on Oka in the Crab space. Izumi's family is rather affluent and she is known to spend lavish amounts on herself.

Asahina Iemitsu (18) | Status 1
Asahina Iemitsu is a fresh graduate of the esteemed and thoroughly corrupted White Peach Blossom dojo. While the young and rather handsome man graduated with honors, there are rumors that his parents wealth ensured his grades. Regardless, Iemitsu has since found apprenticeship in Hospital of Compassion Eternal, studying to become a doctor in near future. Besides his duties, Iemitsu is an accomplished archer, often spending hours at the dojo honing his form.

Isawa Akemi (19) | Status 1 [Chosen by Hotaru Koseki]
Akemi is particularly talented Earth shugenja and she has no qualms making sure that everyone knows it. Having graduated two years ago, she is already working for Isawa Agritech, developing new landscaping magics for agricultural use. Notably Akemi has six siblings, a factor that likely pushed the young girl to spend all of her free time in the libraries of Kuroyama. Despit being bookworm to the core, Akemi is actually rather outgoing, eager to engage with others, if only to prove them just how much smarter she is.

Tsuruchi Chiyo (18) | Status 1 [Chosen by Daidoji Kamui]
Tsuruchi Chiyo hails from the world of Zuiryu where she has worked as a member of the cities guard since her recent graduation. She's untested by war the majority of her duties involving dealing with potentially dangerous wildlife. Bubbly and prone to gossip, she can be something of a distraction to the others in her squad, though most still speak of her well. It's her wish though to leave the back water of Zuiryu behind, and see more of the empire at large, she is tired of living shut away so far from the center of things.

Tsuruchi Masako (21) | Status 1 [Chosen by Kuchiki Satoru]
Originally from Zuiryu Tsuruchi Masako now lives and works on The Lode, alongside her cousin Tsuruchi Hayato in the 41st Tsuruchi Ranger Battalion. She's a competent solider and scout among her squad, and has seen battle on more then one occasion. She is rather unrefined though, and prone to smoking a seemingly common habit among members of the 41st Battalion. If she has any wish, it's to leave the relatively sedate front of The Lode behind and experience real battle elsewhere in the empire. More to test herself and her resolve then anything else.
