We have about 30 players. I have about six hours per day to post (factoring work, sleep and spending some time with my wife so I have a roof over my head). This means that I have 6*60/30 = 12 minutes per day per player. Because I also need to run NPCs, adjust scores and answer legitimate questions about events and such, I ask you all to use the search function before asking anything about the setting. . Similarly, I ask you to use search functions on the pdf files before asking about the fluff / crunch. Chances are that the answer you need is there. While just asking is easier for you guys, the time me and boogie spend answering questions that are answered on the forum is away from 'fun' from everyone. |

Please make a wallet thread in your PF so we can adjust your purchases at some point all at the same time. Also you can set-up a thread for your inventory (copying relevant bits of your sheet) so you can keep track of your things. We trust players to manage this on their own. |

The pre-game is on. Remember that you are only allowed one thread for the pregame, the instructions can be found in the pre-game forum. Pregame runs for about 48 hours. Also those wishing to purchases a stay in the hotel should do it during the pre-game or they get duly tossed into the dorms. People with enough status will be assigned to hotel as per the rules and don't have to worry about this. |

Since there is a confusion, pregame should take place on the pregame forum. ONLY exception to this are the local Phoenix. If you are not local, you should be on the shuttle. If you have messed this up already, you don't need to delete your posts. |

As we literally cannot comb through your PF's daily and as you might post stuff there that is not related to us, if you want our attention to anything that happens in your PF, please nudge us here. |

Try to not comment in the memorable moments thread. We don't want people discussing stuff there - we want people to see the memorable moments. If you want to comment a memorable moment, copy-paste / quote and do it in the OOC chatter. While I am at it, D2 looms ahead of us. Each day will get a dedicated Q&A thread. To keep me and Boogie sane, please read the event twice before rolling anything. Also please refer to the first post of this thread regarding commonly asked questions. |

Also, as we approach the day change I remind you all that once we hit D2, you are not allowed to roll in D1 threads to avoid time warps and retcons. |

When you search information at the Temple of Fukurokujin, you are only allowed to roll once per time slot. Few people have derped this. I know you are not malicious and well, I didn't realize you were breaking my rules. But let's stick to one roll per time slot from now on. |

More a reminder. When rolling dice. Noting Raises and Purpose Please remember to note why you're rolling dice and any Raises you might be calling on your roll. If you do not note your number of Raises - or you call one Raise when you intended to call three, or visa versa - then you're out of luck, because what you wrote in the description section is what counts. I made a mistake, what now? If you have rolled the wrong amount of dice for whatever reason, you can re-roll the dice. Just write in the Orokos text box why you are re-rolling and what you are re-rolling. |

Quote: Raises When a player declares he is making a Raise, he is choosing to voluntarily increase the TN of the task his character is attempting, by an increment of 5 per Raise. A character can make a maximum number of Raises per roll equal to his Void Ring. Some mechanical effects grant a character Free Raises. These give the benefit of having made a Raise without actually increasing the TN of the roll in question, and do not count toward the maximum number of Raises that may be made per roll. Free Raises may also be used to reduce the TN of the task being attempted by 5 instead of augmenting the roll in the same way as a normal Raise Unskilled rolls (when you roll without having the skill) cannot benefit from any Raises, free or otherwise. Now, this is from the rulebook but as we have new players it's perhaps good that I note these here. |

Also in case someone wasn't aware, you are allowed to marry someone in your clan. It's not optimal as far as fluff regarding alliances go, but no crunch prevents it nor will character suffer adverse effects doing so unless they have Obligations to do otherwise. |

If you need a NPC, please ask for them at a) the previous IC day b) the start of the new IC day. This way we know how to schedule ourselves and you get the NPC interaction you need. |

Ruling: Attempting to shoot others while being engaged yourself will still bestow the +10TN penalty. |

If I get my work stuff done tomorrow as planned, there is going to extra mini-combat for D5 that is meant for anyone who was not in combat D3 OR who is not part of Eriko's gang. |

To make it clear, if you head out into the wilderness you might die. And I am not afraid to roll a deadly combat at you if the dice so dictate, even if it would mean retconning all the threads. |

Day six will be extended so that day change is 7-8 AM EEST on Friday the 18th, basically making Tuesday the 15th the 'real first IC day' of D6. |
