Today's miai event makes me realize I have not asked yet if miai events are mandatory, or if one can look at a Stamina 20 check and wilt away?

On the same note: if one were to fail the stamina, can they clock out of the event?

For combat, we are assumed to not be armored, so I assume rifles are also out of the picture. Daisho we can wear, and what about sidearms?

This thread is considered closed after four Characters have posted in it, confirming their participation. It should be noted that this thread has potential to be fatal and participants face a considerable risk of death. Your initial post should include your character's reaction to the situation as well as your initial Initiative Roll and your unarmoured TN to be hit. (No character can be assumed to wear armor to a farm tour.) Additionally every character must roll their Stamina against TN 10 or be inebriated and suffer -1k0 penalty to all Skill and Trait rolls for the duration of the combat. Similarly, characters cannot expect to have brought anything besides their swords and their sidearms.

Marksmanship
The would be sentinels must have keen eyes and good aim. Three targets have been set up along the route for the characters. This is represented by three Firearms(Any)/Reflexes rolls against TN 15. For each roll, success earns the attendee one Biathlon point and an additional Biathlon point for each successful raise called. This counts as an attack roll for purposes of Techniques and Advantages. Failing any of the rolls has no negative consequences.

The Lame disadvantage can be traded to 3 point Disadvantage 'Obligation: Phoenix' as the locals are willing to provide excellent medical care in return for favors promised.

If the players succeed on their roll, they also gain +0.1 for being victorious in their race.

So out of curiosity if we are using Firearms(Marksman Rifle)/Reflexes for this roll. Would we be consisered to be using our marksman rfiel and gain the +2k0 to attack rolls? Or are we just using the emphasis without that.

Can PCs heal that too (like the poison in the previous event)? If so, what would be the appropriate skill rolls or spells?

If you get the phoenix healing for the lame, can they also heal the wounds?


Edit: Additional - you mention that spells take 6 hours, and the zone says if on foot use the slot before and after - so is the event actually EM, LM and EA?

In the driving game, the +0.1 is Glory?

For Driftmaster: Ignition Plus, if you fail the etiquette roll to get to play, does that still count as one of your three played games?

All the wounds or do I do a thread and have them roll for it?
