D11 Boar 7th 3124 Tanabata +++Thought for the Day++ No army is big enough to conquer the galaxy. But hope alone can overturn the universe. The morning is hot yet again and the humidity makes any and all outings uncomfortable at best. The hot air reeks of death and decay. The Brotherhood monks are out again, handing out water to the people on the streets. The moon is waning crescent. Events [D11 EE] Miai Event: Tanabata Today the Miya News and Entertainment Network is streaming re-runs the 'High Court' at 'Late Evening' time slot. Characters may either watch the broadcast on the screens of their hotel rooms or on the screen in the common room of the Wisteria Inn. Characters with densai or similar device may watch the movie wherever they want, though the image quality will be questionable at best. High Court A comedy-drama serial set in Feudal-day Rokugan that has a haughty and arrogant courtier but highly successful courtier paired with a passionate and idealistic younger courtier. They find themselves at odds with their ideas and methods, although working toward the same goals. The younger courtier does her best to ignore a growing admiration for her superior while the other must come to terms that her methods might be worth utilizing. |
