Shizuku while skilled with computers, was also a bit of a master of over-stretching herself. While she managed to do passably, she felt like she was going to fall asleep by the end of all the data mining. She was only able to put in a modicum of effort in the last stretch.

Shion knew how to use computers, all right. But rummaging through digital archives was definitely not the sort of thing she was used to doing - she looked for songs, sheet music and other things at times, sure, but nothing like what they had been asked to do.

Rummaging through the actual book collections looked even harder, and she was even less used to searching libraries for weird titles. It might be fun, but... this was one of the last chances to look good, and some others were doing so well. Maybe she should just focus on what she might be able to do... and try her best at it.

She tried her best, and failed bad.

It went downhill from there.

The list she put together didn't look good. Neither did she after presenting it, probably.

Bayushi Akagi was quickly able to locate and identify the My Little Pony: Tales of the Unicorn Clan, but the librarian gave the Scorpion a very stern, unamused look when he turned up Akodo’s Leadership as a parody book. Akagi could only smile and shrug helplessly.

Turning to the computer console, Akagi didn’t fare any better. Unfortunately, clicking on the “Quick answers fast!” advertisement was not the right answer, as it hyperlinked to a series of endless popups that locked up his computer terminal, and he spent the rest of the allotted time trying to reset the machine to factory settings.
