Following the exciting robotics rally, Tsugiharu returned to the library. He WOULD find those books, even if he had to spend his whole day here.

Not long after, a Crane appeared amongst the stacks, searching for basic information on an area of programming she was less familiar with. Unfortunately, she would remain less familiar in terms of book learning.

Cone lantern light bounced off white hair.

"Hmm, so are you filed under D for Daidoji or D for Delightful, Daidoji-san?" Tsugiharu offered, pleased to find the Crane yet again.

He bowed.

"It's nice to see you again, I hope you've been well."

"Right now, D for Determined... Though I'll probably have to come back tomorrow to fulfill that determination," she replied, tilting her head to the side and resting her cheek in one hand for a moment. Then she turned and bowed. "It's nice to see you, again as well, Kuchiki-san. I've been doing fairly decently. How've you been?"

Tsugiharu shrugged.

"Keeping busy as best I can." he admitted. "At least the robotics competition today was interesting. I was pleased to at least do well enough to keep the drone."

"That's good, at least," she agreed. At the mention of the contest, she grinned and pumped her fist. "Yeah! That was a lot of fun! The programming and construction requirements were pretty basic, so I kinda went nuts with the tea part."

Tsugiharu nodded.

"Well given the competition requirements, tea was fairly essential." he admits. "An interesting parallel to the challenges a samurai faces, being both hardy enough to traverse the wilderness yet delicate enough to serve tea."

"Though it is a shame we don't have access to the various parts. It'd be interesting to try out different configurations and try out new challenges."

"True... I was admittedly so wrapped up in the resource allocation puzzle aspect of it, I wasn't really thinking of the philosophical implications," she said, tilting her head. "But you're right."

"It does seem like an interesting hobby. With the right build and programming, it could be almost anything you needed it to be."

Tsugiharu nodded.

"Not that I'm interesting in joining the local club. But I wonder if wherever I end up there is such a club?" he mused.

"Yeah, me, either. I can't really say I'm a fan of the idea of staying here," she said, looking up at the ceiling, or maybe at the sky through it somewhere. "There are probably clubs all over, though. If you're at any particular planet or station consistently, anyway."

Tsugiharu nodded.

"Worth looking in to. So....any changes in the design to your drone if you knew then what you knew now? Or any other configurations you'd like to try out?" he asked.

"I'd like to make a flying drone next," she replied with a nod, smiling bright. "And the programming for the rally wasn't very complex, so I'd like to do something with a few more bells and whistles next time. I'm pretty proud of how I did, though, so I really can't complain. I managed to program it to make tea instead of just serving it."

Tsugiharu nodded.

"I will admit that after playing your game, and knowing that the robotics competition was coming up, I did brush up on my own skills to be able to make a good drone. Honestly, I think my design was solid and programming was serviceable. It would have performed better with the sturdy engine, but the new error correcting module was too tempting to not try out." he admitted.

"That's awesome" she replied with a grin. "I feel like I helped a bit now. I know what you mean, though. I went for error correction, too, but the module wasn't robust enough to handle a predator attack. Still, it was impressive, and I bet it could be improved with some tweaking."

Tsugiharu nodded.

"It's a nifty part, but yeah it's power source is way too greedy. Not bad for an emergency situation, but not something that in it's current form would be suitable for long-term usage."

He diid shake his head a bit at the mention of the predator attack.

"I'll admit, when they were going over the rules and the parts, I did wondering if there was going to be some sort of armored tea dispenser. Tea, regardless of battlefield conditions."

She laughed at that. "Well, it's not like the battlefield is the only place for automata."

Tsugiharu shook his head.

"Very true, but I'm sure you encountered the beverages drone on the shuttle in to planet. There's always room for improvement with how they're built and used, right?" he responded.

"Well, I was asleep for most of the ride down, honestly, so I didn't deal with that one, but I know what you're talking about," she agreed. "Programming the fine motor skills for that stuff turned out to be pretty fun, anyway."

"Though did you see the one that actually sprayed hot tea everywhere?"

Tsugiharu laughed at that.

"Ah, I believe so, that was a Lion creation was it not?"

"It was. The whole armored battlefield tea serving reminded me of that thing," she said, laughing herself. "That was hilarious. I mean, I hope no one got hurt in the spray of boiling water, but still."
