A datapad was out before anyone knew it, and Fusako seemed to take notes. "Mmm, that's the spirit Kamui-san. A military woman should be easy enough to find around here, even a daring one that likes fast driving and dueling. Perhaps that Lion from earlier..." She trailed off as she took more notes.

Kamui looks up and furrow's a brow. "Asahina-san, are you talking about who I'm think of? Mastu C-something."

He pause a minute. "I've heard a few things about her, but I've never her personally. And, she is in Lion."

Fusako gave a smooth smile. "At the moment, I confirm or deny nothing. Jumping to conclusions is never a wise idea in my experience after all."

"Even during the days of the old Kakita/Matsu feud we still wed Lions, Daidoji-san." Another sip, "A Crane parent, after all, does much to change one's opinion of ouh clan."

"I have met two Matsu here, both warriors and pleasant enough company. Approach them if you wish, it is a miai after all."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Asahina-san." He bows head to her.

Kamui cranes his head to the right listening to Ishiyo. "That is something start with."

"Well," Ichika said, after a slight silence took over the room amid the talking. "I do hope to meet someone who I can get along with. Treats me well as their wife," she said, finding confidence as she looked around at the others.

Fusako's social radar once again locked onto Ichika. "Mmm, treat you well? That should be an easy enough goal. Anything else? Perhaps someone with an artistic talent, or that can cook?"

Seeing attentions shift again, Ishiyo relaxes back in her seat and finally tries an appetizer as she was forced to ponder a real answer to the question. The muted motions of chewing helped hide her thoughtful expression.

"I trained to be a good wife. It's what was expected of me, and so.. even after things changed, I am still ready for that. Maybe I want it too," she looked down, furrowed a brow but shrugged.

"I'm certain I might find other things but.." she softly rocked her head in thought, "no.. I'm not so certain I need a spouse who shares my passion for art. So long as they appreciate my passion for art," she said.

Fusako gave a small smirk. "Ah, it really is too bad you're a Crane dear, you ARE too adorable. I'll put in my notes to look out for someone that's honorable and compassionate, that should do." She took more notes in her datapad.

"I thought about it a bit..." Shizuku began. "Getting more specific, I mean. I suppose... It would be nice to find someone with complementary duties, like a pilot or bridge crew training. It would be unfortunate to find someone I'm compatible with and then never get to see them. I'd like someone who can help me stay focused. Hmm... It's harder to keep up my energy with someone who can't get into the spirit of fun when it's time for it. I'll probably have more ideas as I meet people."

"Is that more helpful?"

Fusako gave a small chuckle as her fingers flew over the datapad. "This is meant to help you Shizuku-san. It helps me help you though, yes. Very practical specifics."

Ishiyo nodded, "Really...all I wish is to stay flying. I haven't really put much thought into a spouse outside of that one wish and the concerns of the clan. My apologies Asahina-sama."

"There's no need to apologise dear. There are always those that only think about their own wishes right up until it's time for the marriage. There is just about a zero percent chance that your marriage would take you away from the duty you've trained for your whole life, regardless of where you go or whomever you end up with, so don't even let it be an issue. If all you want after that is for a spouse that will do their duty as well, then I can find a randomizer right now, enter the names of all the participants, and make the miai itself a tedious wait in that case, since even if one present would not, they certainly wouldn't admit so."

Opening her datapad, Fusako seemed to be doing just that.
