Having gotten a private room, Bayushi Tenma waited for her fellow Scorpion; She did not recognize any of the names off hand after she had obtained them, so this would be a most informative meeting. Tea and a covered pot of rice were out, but the other courses waited for the guests. |

A male Scorpion in a red starship uniform arrived promptly at the meeting. "Good afternoon, Yoriki," he said, bowing respectfully. "Bayushi Akagi reporting. I'm from the security detail assigned to Hanei Maru." |

Tenma stood and gave a small bow before gesturing to a cushion; The touch of the restaurant being a floor sitting old fashioned one suited her tastes fine, but hopefully the others preferred it too. "Good afternoon, Bayushi-san. And I am Bayushi Tenma, off the clock as it were. If you'd like something to drink besides tea or water, I can have something brought." |

"Thank you, tea will suit me very well," Akagi said, moving to the cushion that Tenma had indicated and taking a seat. "How are you finding Asakaze so far, Tenma-sama?" |

"It's... not the best. Much warmer than I'm used to, and the smell of the fungus..." She shook her head, "Still, the city is nice enough, and the accommodations are adequate. And I'm certainly glad to have my feet on the ground again, as it were." |

"After starship duty, all planets smell a little funny," Akagi said with a sympathetic smile. "I get used to new worlds quickly, though. Asakaze at least has an interesting ecosystem; there's some mining stations I've been to that were barren rocks without even an atmosphere." |

"Hmph... interesting. I suppose I won't disagree with that assessment." Being the host, she poured some tea for her fellow Bayushi. "There certainly do not seem to be many Scorpion sent here, regardless. I know our Clan has little interest in Phoenix matters at the moment, but I'm still a bit surprised." |

“I thought there were two other Scorpion listed on the housing assignments, but perhaps they had some scheduling conflict,” Akagi said tactfully as he accepted the tea cup. “I saw one of them last night at the meet & greet, a woman - but didn’t have a chance to speak with her.” |

I am really just lucky the Asako had such a well organized list of attendees; This almost shouldn't have happened, since we weren't sent here together. We are kind of on our own here." |

Tsukiko strolls in with her servant, glasses and shoes slightly dusty after the otori riding but otherwise as prim and proper as her servant could get her. "That's a lot less Scorpion than I expected, are we all that came? What did you want to talk about anyway?" |

"I assume we're here to talk about strategy for the miai...if we have one?" Akagi said, sounding a little uncertain. "I have some general impressions of what we're supposed to accomplish based on what my superiors told me, but that's about it." |
