Heaven's Wing dojo is the oldest and and the most prestigious academy on the world. The building is not original, however, as it was rebuilt to facilitate the growing number of samurai students as recently as 3119. The dojo trains both Asako Loremasters as well as Shiba Bushi, though all the instructors hail from the Asako Family. The teaching licenses of all the sensei are prominently displayed in the main lobby ensuring that no-one can question the qualifications of the Asako teachers.

The first floor of the academy, containing the old fashioned practice halls and the gunnery ranges are open to the public. The other floors are off-limits to visitors and several burly ashigaru guard the stairwell. The practice halls of the first floor have been build to resemble the dojo of the old, though both the paneling on the walls as well as the tatami on the ground have been manufactured from synthetic materials. The 'wood' in particular has a rather plastic feel to it and the tatami mats are perhaps bit too soft for anyone who has ever seen a real thing.

Location rules: Bokken (DR 0k1) and yari (DR 1k1) carved from chitinous mushroom 'bark' are available for visitors.
