Hayato checked his comm, no messages from Geppu. Well, he wasn't realy surprised, placing his comm away he drew his sidearm and sighted down range. He just needed to let it all go, he was a bushi after all. This polticking it didn't really matter. Squeezung the trigger Hayato sent a single shot down range, the bolt punching into the targets head.

He'd have a few more dates ith the girls he knew and liked and enjoy his vacation. That was all there was to it.

"Mrreow!" came from down range after the shot struck the target as intended.

An orange kitten leaped out from the fields where the targets were hosted, startled by the shot.

Hayato blinked and lowered his weapon.

What was a cat doing here? "That's a bad place for you to be kitten." He told ot, hoping it would scamper away.

Cats were not indigenous to Asakaze, that's for sure. The orange kitten gave a thorough shake of his body and looked about, seemingly not able to catch the origin of the weapon that fired a few moments ago. He paced about on the field a few steps before calling out, "Meow! Meow!"

"You're lost aren't you." Hayato murmured to himself as he moved to holster his side arm.

Lifting his hand to the top button of his shirt, he let out a experimental. "Meow." To see if he could catch the cats attention.

The kitten snapped his attention toward Hayato finally. His ears went up and he stood taller on his legs as his tail perked. He looked at the Mantis with wide open eyes.

"Muuuurrr..." he growled through his throat.

"A tough guy are you?" The Mantis replied squatting down on his knees, and holding out a hand towards the kitten as he unbuttoned another button of his shirt.

"Why don't ya come here and we can find your owner."

As Hayato dared to approach closer, the kitten got even tougher! His little fur hairs began to bristle and his tail went up. He hissed and spit at him, throwing down his front paws in a defensive posture and daring him to not come any closer!

"Ssssssi! Muuuuurrr! Ssssi!"

Cats had never been one of his strong suits, but he did pause and stop approaching closer as he tried to soothe the stressed out kitten. "Sssshhhh, it's ok now. I'm not gonna hurt you."

Likely to little effect. He did try to inspect it a bit better now that he was closer though, in hopes of spotting a collar.

The kitten splayed his front paws on the ground in serious warning as his tiny claw almost gave him a few scratches for his trouble. He continued to hiss and spit at him, now fully on edge and fearing the human. From what Hayato could see, this kitten didn't have a collar at all.

With the open field of the range around him, he began to back step and to make his escape...

/exit if not stopped with another roll, more dangerous now!

"Shit." Hayato muttered under his breath as the kitten started to scamper off. Unbuttoning the last button of his shirt in a hurry, he pulled it off and tried to toss it over the kitten.

Unfortunately shirts made very poor nets in the best of circumstances.

With a sigh, Hayato retrieved his shirt and began to put it, he hadn't been really sure what he would of done if he managed to catch the kitten anyways... Aside from sneeze alot.

Still he wanted to make sure it didn't get hurt runnign around on the range here... So he would return tomorrow with back up.
