Drink finished, Tenma set it down before glancing outside and back, "Well, I'm sure it's not gotten any cooler out there, but I should probably venture out, get ready for this 'feast' that our hosts are going to be putting together." |

"Oh, sure!" Tenma pulled out a flip communicator, a newish one with a plain black case. "I didn't think I would get much use out of this thing here, since I don't know anyone, you know?" Opening it up she pulls up her number and holds the phone out in a gloved hand. |

Akemi saved the number and raised an eyebrow: "Planning not to get anyone's number at a miai?" Once again, she wasn't sure if the Bayushi was that innocent or if she was pulling her leg. This time, she decided to play it safe: "Well, that's obviously a plan that failed. Guess you'll have to design a new one on its ashes. Just call me if I end up being part of it." |

Tenma tilted her head curiously. "Get peoples... numbers? But..." A dawning, a blush, a twitch like deer in headlights before everything righted itself. "Oh, like THAT. I had not even considered THAT. I suppose I think... or at least thought, of a miai as a formal sort of event, like a court. Th-Though I hear even an old style court has it's share of behind the scenes games of 'find-the-pickle', as they called it at the athlete village at the Interstellar Gymnastics Finals when I went there..." |
