After that rough evening, Akemi had booked a room so they could unwind by singing loudly.

Plus she had of promised of organizing a karaoke night... One week ago. So killing two birds with one stone.

It was short notice this gathering. Atena wondered who would come of the people she knows.

With all the stress of the confrontation near the shrine, Hoshiko needed to unwind.

"Good evening, mina-sama. Thank you for inviting me."

Tsugiharu had been considering not coming. He didn't particularly enjoy singing, the Moshi *could* sing, and she had already made her lack of interest pretty apparent. But the planet hadn't exploded and the library hadn't defeated him, despite the Phoenix's best efforts, so something lighter seemed like a good plan.

Rather than fleeing the mall, he bowed as was expected.

"Good evening, Moshi-san, Hida-san, Shiba-san." he offered. "May Sadahako smile upon our intentions, if not our actual skill."

Atena smiled at the arrivals. "Konbanwa... mina san..." The girl was happy finally a night that she wasn't all alone. "Thank you for coming... in such short notice." She gave to all a bow.

Tsugiharu winced a bit internally, feeling really really out of place.

Geez, Atena, could you at least have invited another guy to balance the numbers? Or another girl instead of me and have a girl's night. he wondered, masking his irritation looking for a song.

He certainly wasn't going to follow Atena, a duet was definitely out of the question with any of them. So just best to go first. At least he'd die bravely.

But what to sing? There weren't any decent Spider songs on the machine. Any love song would taste like ash, and a song of loss would feel like a loser anthem. But he did know one trick about Karoke. If you couldn't sing, find a song with at least one part that the crowd would love to belt out. And with a small side glance at the Phoenix, he found one that would serve.

"Alright, let's get this started then." he said.

He actually didn't do terribly with the relatively simple melody.

But he definitely lead the group in belting out the most important words in the song....even if having a Spider lead the song was....a really really weird choice:

Atena clapped. As she now took her turn, searching the database and found an interesting song.

Hoshiko began to sway and was soon dancing where she sat, lost to the rythmn. At least, she was pretty good.

When her turn came, she sang an older song, something her father always sang when they'd stargaze.

Akemi owed Atena one so she kept quiet about her choice of guests, but the evening was becoming weirder and weirder.

She grabbed the mic and shouted in it more than any actual singing:

We're warriors! Unstoppable!

As she inflicted sound and sanity damages at everyone who could hear her, she started pacing the room, doing spins and turns, and would extend a hand to the Shiba should she want to keep dancing.

Hoshi took Akemi's hand, happy to keep dancing.

Even with Akemi's terrible singing, Atena chuckled. It was quite the show. Hoshiko showing Akemi some moves. "Teach me Shiba san!"

Akemi lead the Shiba into a open embrace whirlwind. The room wasn't that big limiting the range of their movements... And endangering the drinks lying around, especially as the bushi had a lot of accumulated tension she needed to discharge as energy.

The Shiba laughed as they spun around. "You're very good, Hida-san."

"Thanks. I've come here with only the basics but I've progressed tremendously since Nakauchi Mumei has taken me under her wing. She's a great teacher." answered Akemi as they kept spinning.

Atena shrugged and moved closer to Tsugiharu. She whispered to the Spider. "Can we meet tomorrow?... I need to talk to you."

Tsugiharu nodded.

"Sure, not a lot of chances left to do so." he agreed in whisper.
