Stepping into line Ichika was still wearing the SMC outfit she'd made from the con. Inside it was a little source of pride but she had to admit to herself that out her it made her feel a little awkward. Alright, a lot of awkward. Standing in line she glanced anywhere else to forget that she was the only person in this line dressed so, even if there were surely others around meandering through the sheer number of those not dressed like her was overwhelming. |

Nishida got hungry and he was not in the mood for going out for dinner so he looked for some street food vendor. While he weighted his options, he noticed one particular interesting line. He approached it and stood behind Ichika. "Good evening,... samurai-san. I hope you had fun on the fan-con? You're custom is well made, I appreciate it. I'm Yasuki Nishida, an honour to meet you." He said with a smile. |

Turning about at the voice, she'd seen him a few times maybe but the name was the confirmation which made her eyes go a little wide as she started to smile. "Oh! It's you!" Bringing her hand up she covered her chuckle. "Thank you," she said with a bright smile, taking the moment to shift so she can offer him a proper little bow. "Doji Ichika, kinda courtier, kinda poet," she smirked a little, that was getting fun to say. "Honor is mine, Yasuki-sama! I've actually heard a bit about you, but I wasn't really expecting to run into you here.." she glanced down, blushed a little, "well, like this," she opened her arms a little and showed off the outfit a little more. Giggling a short two-note giggle. |

"Oh, I hope you only heard good things about me, Doji-san?" He said a bit curious. "You're dress is well.made, even though under normal circumstances a bit outlandish. I hope you did well in the cosplay competition? With a dress like this you should've be one of the top competitors." |

Stifling the laugh with the back of her hand, "I did well," she said, a small blush as she glanced down at the outfit. "Thank you again, Yasuki-sama," she said, looking up with that bright smile. "Not sure if anyone did better, but I did well enough to get some notice for sure! It was fun to make," she raised her arm a little, checking how she put together the sleeve again. "How about you, Yasuki-sama, have you enjoyed the con yourself?" she asked with a little raise of her brow. |

"Originally i only came as someone said they needed help with the con, so i came to volunteer. But after being there for a while, I had some fun. I tried that space colonist boardgame, in fact I bought it." He raised a bag. Two shapes could be made out of them a rectangular one and a more soft one. If one looked closer a bird plushy could be made out in the bag. "I also played Asako Chiruha-sans boardgame,.. it was fun and I tried to make some minies for it,.. it was an educational expirence. How about you?" |

"I showcased a small concept of a game I put together, actually. And well, this," she said, referencing the costume again. "Then, yea, I did a whole bunch of volunteer work too," she said with a little nod. "Though you played Asako-sama's game, that's wonderful! Asako-sama's really nice, I hope you got a chance to talk with her!" |

Mhmmm," she nodded, then looking back to the line waved for Nishida to take her spot with her if he so wished. "So, how has your time been here Yasuki-sama? What do you think of the planet?" |

He stepped up next to her. "Hmmm. That is a tough question, Doji-san. On one hand i expirenced alot of new things here. On the other i cant ignore the dangers of this world, considering the fate two of our competitiors shared. I have never left the city walls so i can only speak what i have seen of it. I like the weather, it mirros the one of my homeworld, the Green Carp, even though it's less humid than there. Although I've been to the Xenobotanical Garden many times, I still haven't gotten tired of it and the night sky is beautiful if you're in the garden. I would like to see more of it, but i would need an escort for it, or wait until more parts of the wilderness have been made safe for non-bushi. How about you, Doji-san?" |

"I hear that a lot of worlds are actually just as dangerous," she suggested the idea, but didn't pursue it more as she glanced toward someone who was walking by. Seeing as they weren't actually anyone she knew she was quickly looking back to Nishida. "I've actually been outside the walls once K-" she chuckled, "a friend brought me out there and we saw some pretty beautiful things! Like these little iridescent moths that glows these really pretty colors!" Waving her hand in front of herself, she furrowed her brow. Twisting her bottom lip she nodded, "Hey, Yasuki-sama, what do you think? Do you think the wild-life here is worth preserving? A little balance between progress and the world itself?" |

"Isn't this the age old question? If the wildlife here is connected to Chikoshudo, they're part of the celestial wheel and that, in return, means that each of the beasts out there in the wild could've been of of our ancestors. So killing them recklessly is a sin. On the hand is the safety of the people of Asakaze, so the threat the wildlife here presents shouldn't be taken lighty." he said stepping one step closer to the food vendor. "I already said that i come from the Green Carp, i guess you've never been there Doji-san? My people there have achived what one could call balance. Within the Hive citites you can find anything you're heart desires, they are places full of live and samurai. But if you leave the grand walls of one of the hives, you step into the vast jungles of my home. Not even today all of it's flora and fauna has been catagolized and the wildlife is nothing to play with. So if i had a sayining these matters here, i would rally for a hive city concept on Asakaze. Industry, Power and Prosperity can be balanced with Preservation of Wildlife and Nature, but my opionen is heavily biased, coming from where i am." |

Ichika listened along, during the time while he spoke she lead them a step closer toward the cart as one of the other patrons went along on their way. Taking the opportunity to smile a little unrestrained as she listened to him. Once they settled into place, she looked up with a little smile, "That sounds like a beautiful thought, Yasuki-sama. You're right though, I've never been there, but hearing that you've developed around it gives a nice bit of hope for this place, yea?" With a content little sigh she glanced back to the cart for a moment, furrowing her brow in a memory. With a shake of her head she looked back to Nishida. "You know, there's a whole lot of people here who see different problems.. willing to sacrifice the wild-life to achieve something of a safety, yea? I don't think they're wrong to want that but- but I'd like if there could still be a better way maybe. Both goals achieved and all.." |

There were, of course, other advantages of having few, heavily fortified cities on a planet full of dangerous animals. But this was no subject for conversation, ... at least not with a crane. "I would like to cite Shinsei on that: It takes a wise man to see an obstacle as it truly is and not as it appears to be. and In order to choose the correct path, you must know the pitfalls that await you.. Pushing to far forward without thinking about the cost will only bring grief to those who follow. It's a tradegy to see a planet die.... But these topic became a bit too dark for me. You said you're a poet?" |

"I am! Or, well.. kinda? It's nothing official in the sense, but it's something I've practiced since I was very young. I've loves it pretty much my whole life," she said, laughing into the back of her hand. "I haven't actually written much since I came here but.. I started again, actually. Just before I left the con," she patted her bag of things that was.. somewhere! "Have it on my Densai I bring around. Trying to make something of a collection to take home," she said with a little nod. Smiling as she looked to Nishida. |

"There was one actually.." she said, glancing forward toward the line before looking back to Nishida. Closing her eyes, though to Nishida it was only the one, she brought back the memory of the moment and with it followed along the words again. Two birds, set to perch born unto renewing winds one of words, one song. She opened her eyes again, looking to Nishida with a little smile, "What do you think, Yasuki-sama?" |

"It's not a very proper one, hmm?" she said, smiling with only the faintest blush as she brushed some errant strands over her ear back. "I came up with it on request before the con, so.." she laughed a little and shook her head. "Do you have any hobbies you're proud of Yasuki-sama?" she asked, raising her brow a little. |

"I like to prepare and drink tea, reading, also i play Go, but hadn't had the chance to do so here, most people are caught up with playing fantasy flight" he shrugged, "I may also found a liking in programming and engineering bots, even though i just started doing so. Also,... it's less of a hobby and more of a responsibilty, but i own a dog, so i take alot of time tending to him." |
