Well, it might just be it hadn't been entirely wrong all miai after all, so he decided at least to give it the benefit of the doubt for the last few days. Ultramarine, a color that reminded him somewhat of the deep sea. Which was sadly unavailable here, so on a day at hot as today he made due with the next best thing, the pool. It was surprisingly empty this morning, most were likely in preperation for tanabata. Which suited the Mantis just fine as he dove in the pool and started swimming laps. He wasn't in a hurry, just taking his time and enjoying the water. Soon he'd likely return home, at least for a short time and then he could enjoy the ocean again. For now though, this would do. |
