"A few yes," Ishiyo nodded, "But I am still largely restrained by my fatheh's wishes. My own feelings must take a secondary position to his in the matteh of my marriage."

"And what does your father want for you Daidoji-sama?" He asks with a slight quirk of his brow.

"Foh me?" Ishiyo chuckles, "I think foh him is more accurate." She leans back and crosses her arms, "Someone who he would consideh worthy foh the family...so good breeding and some sort of connections. Not as easy as he thinks here."

"Ahhh I see. Well I certainly lack those qualities but likely important for you to be happy with the match at any rate. Can't all just be about what your father wants can it?"

Ishiyo smiled, "Kuchiki-san wishes to see me happy?" She chuckled, "I have been pushing against his wishes...I still do not know how much I can influence the decision."

"I see no reason not to wish for the blessings of Benten for you Daidoji-sama. You have been nothing but kind and friendly to me since I met you. We have not gotten to know each other well but you seem like a good person. Why would I not wish to see you happy." he said like an analytical breakdown.

"Thank you Kuchiki-san," Ishiyo smiled more gently at that, "But I believe I have mentioned that I feel Benten does not just grace a marriage. Still it would be nice."

"I hope the same foh you, that Benten smiles on you-eh future marriage."

He nods and straightens his glasses "in any case if you wish to appease your father Daigotsu-sama wouldn't be a bad choice. Part of the alliance, a man of notable breeding and not inconsiderable status. Plus you seem somewhat fond of him if my read is right."

"Daigotsu-sama is both infuriating and amusing at the same time," Her expression was a cross between amusement...and irritation. "But yes his standing would make him a good match. In that regard."
