"I honestly have no idea how this whole thing is going to go, but the surprise is something I can enjoy." he smirked to Akagi, then started unpacking further, finally producing a rectangular box of significant size from which he produced a smaller and classic version of a horsehead fiddle. He reached out with it to Nara, with the bow for it in another hand. "Then go for it! Do you want to test your father's claim first or do you actually need pointers?"

"What sort of actress are you, Susumu-san, if I may be so bold to ask?" Akagi inquired. "I'm afraid not much Spider holomedia gets through the official censorship in Scorpion space."

"I'm currently on a TV drama show called Teenage Demon Hunters.I play the lead character, who has to balance a normal live with hunting demons that are trying to take over the world" Nara explained before a box was offered to her!

"Ooh! Let me try it! It's not a gift right, you're keeping it and just letting me play it?" Nara checked as she reached for the box.

"That sounds great," Akagi said, sounding impressed. "I shall have to see if the Phoenix networks carry this show. And if we run into any demons, I'll know who to call."

He grinned.

"Yeah, I need to hold onto it for a bit more. But if you take liking in it enough to grab one, I'll help you in that." He chuckled. "If I'd known there'd be interest, I'd bring more!" On the other note, he grinned. "Demon-slaying is very up my alley. I guess I could write a piece about it."

"Hmm, let's give it a try!"

Nara accepted the box, carefully opening it to take the instrument out. She gave it a few practice goes, but her fingers were not strong enough to press the strings down. She had the right idea though

"Ow. Ok, I might need longer with a stringed instrument" she giggled.

"It's okay, just takes a bit of practice. And a bow." He waggled the one she hadn't taken. "Save your fingers for subtle things. If I played without a bow, I'd use a pick most of the time."

"Oh" Nara giggled, accepting the bow "how embarrassing. I thought it felt kind of wrong, thank you."

"Not that much really, I guess you took it for something like a biwa or samisen. On fiddles, playing with fingers is rare." Ruhe laughed jovially, waving with encouragement. "Try again, now with the bow."

[Since we can't roll anymore, let's do it narratively]
