"Well, I may have been giving her some pointers lately." Hayato replied with an amused smile. "I suppose you'll get to see what comes of that eventually."

"Well, actually, it might be part of her charm that she doesn't," Nozomi answered, stifling her first yawn. It was pretty late, even if she was a bit restless due to the upcoming proceedings.

"You're likely right." Hayato replied with a soft chuckle, eyeing the Kitsu for a few moments. "Starting to sound like you need to head to bed."

"I tried that earlier," she contested him. "But I've been too restless, much like yourself, I'm guessing."

The priestess' face took a more solemn turn. "How do you go to sleep when on deployment?"

"Sometimes you just don't, or barely do." He offered with a shrug. "You function off caffeiene and anything else that might keep you going like cigarettes."

"They do give you a few techniques to help you get there though, and in a lot of says it's a lot like meditation."

"Hm, those all make sense," Nozomi commented as she listened in. "Say, do the Mantis allow y'all to chat at post? I know it varies with the Lion, depending on where you are."

"Chat on post?" Hayato asked with a raised eyebrow. "What dimo you mean? Talk while we are at out duty stations?"

"Yeah, kind of like how we're talking right now. Just to pass the time."

"Depends on the circumstances. Sometimes yes, others no." He glanced towards her. "You don't do much chattering on the watch in the wilderness late at night."
