(Expecting)

Satoru walked back to the inn after the wrestling event, it had been an interesting event both fun but ending with a bit of a sour note. He enjoyed the cooler night air and went up to the roof looking out over the city refreshed after the storms of the day. Much had happened since he had arrived here, even in such a short time. Some was expected, some very much not so. He spent some time in silent contemplation looking out with his hands clasped behind his back.

Shizuku had gone for a quick shower to wash off the day after the match was over, then back out. Rather than leave the inn, though, she ended up spotting Satoru nearby and came over, bowing. "I apologize for earlier."

Satoru didn't react to Shizuku's presence at first, even after she had spoken he simply continued to stare out over the city for a few seconds. He adjusted his glasses a bit before speaking "Have you ever taken the time to observe a city after a storm Daidoji-san? It smells refreshed, clean and its calmer people still inside after seeking shelter. Its the same on any world, one of the universal truths of the galaxy I have found. One of my favorite things." when he finished he finally looked over to her his expression as stoic as ever.

"I cannot expect you to defend me, I barely know you and I do my best not to impose my presence on those that do not wish to be in it."

"Defend... you?" She looked confused more than anything.

"A poor choice of words Daidoji-san. Regardless there is nothing for you to apologize for. It was not you who showed their ignorance." Only stood by one who did "I apologize if my presence negatively impacted your evening." he said with a short bow to her.
