Having finished competing against an AI, Tenma stood up and walked over, "From what little I caught, it seems I have lucked out on my roommate assignments; I would hate to have split up two people who have much in common, especially at an event like this. Not to mention putting to pilots who do not see eye to eye together."

She stood there with a hand on her hip, "I may never understand how the Unicorn continue to find new ways to be controversial, even in these modern enlightened times. Slapping hands together indeed. Next thing you know you'd be slapping OTHER parts in public."

Yul turned, his eyebrows going up. "Probably for the best that Utaku-san and I are in different rooms. We've already had plenty of each others' company."

His eyebrows went further up, even as his gaze briefly flickered down to the hand on her hip. "I hope my display of enthusiasm didn't offend you, Bayushi-sama." He said, smiling easily. "I guess it's just a Unicorn tradition to be a bit different, going back to the beginning. But if you ask me, sometimes differences can be interesting."

"Not offended in the slightest, it's just... weird. I will not throw too many stones in that department though, as I am told I am odd myself."

"This Unicorn secret will be safe with me." It was said with complete seriousness, because it seemed like such a strange custom, it had to be a Unicorn secret.

"It is odd, Bayushi-san, but likely harmless. I am sure that it does not eacalate from there."

Yul chuckled. "I appreciate that, Daigotsu-san." He let the next part pass; what the Spider didn't know couldn't hurt him.

Crossing his arms over his chest, his leather jacket creaking, Yul looked at Tenma again. "What do they say?" He raised a hand. "You don't have to say if you don't want to."

"What, about me? I would hardly care to say, since you make that caveat. I prefer if people judge me fresh rather than by rumors from others, even if they are provided by myself."

That wasn't entirely true... she certainly wouldn't mind some GOOD press, for instance.

"You seem an intense and severe woman. Committed to your work, from what I gathered on the shuttle." He didn't blink as he looked to her. "I am sure the comments about you are regarding that, poorly framed to try and make you look bad, which likely means those attempts fail."

Yul nodded slowly. "Okay, fair enough. Well, you don't seem odd to me." He smiled. "Maybe once I get to know you better... but hey, like you said, I'm odd myself."

He looked at Ryuu curiously, then nodded. "You're a good guy, Daigotsu-san." He said finally. "Compassion is not the virtue that your clan is most known for, but I feel that you have it."

"Compassion has nothing to do with it. It is simple observation of truth. It would not be compassionate to lie and not assess her correctly, or to think those that speak ill of her are anything more than covetous or jealous." A slow blink. He stepped back.

"I apologize, Shinjo-san. I see what you are saying as a compliment. It is just not something I am accustomed to from others outside of my Clan. You, too, are a good guy."

"I suppose I could be described in worse ways. Thank you. Still, I would not be so quick to judge, either myself or Daigotsu-san here; So much lies beneath the surface of a person's life, in all but the most blunt of Matsu."

She relaxed a little, "...anyways, I suppose I might be willing to try out the dancing machines; It's not my usual, but it looks like a pleasant change."

"Truth can be compassion." Yul said, smiling. "In fact, I think it usually is." He nodded. "But thanks, Daigotsu-san. I appreciate it."

"That's true." He nodded to Tenma. Yul sighed. "Well, we've got less than two weeks to learn about each other before things get complicated."

He smiled at Tenma's suggestion. "You'd be willing, huh? Sounds good to me." He looked at Ryuu, gesturing to the game. "You want to take first go with Bayushi-sama?"

"I would not be opposed." He nodded, looking to the Scorpion. "Do you have a strong preference on song?"

His head tilted as he asked Tenma... then he blinked.

Ooc: slight issue since rules wise- each PC can only roll once per slot on the game. Icly Ryuu very much would

"You can choose songs? How novel. I suppose something catchy, something the youth these days like. Though not Yakumo, please; I know your Clanmate is famous for their music, but I think my siblings overplayed their first album to the point it leaves me a bit soured on the tunes."

Yul shrugged. "Already checked. There's no Yakumo on the playlist, anyway. This thing's probably older than she is, anyway." He nudged the machine with his foot.
