“I mean, taking it a few steps at a time is good n’ all, but what is a journey without a destination?” Hide paused a moment after that before making a rather disgusted face. “Ewwww, gross, I sounded like my dad when I said that. Ugh, I take it all back.”

Eriko gave her an amused look with a faint smirk on her lips. "Yeah, that was an awkward moment, I'm more than willing to forget what you just said, Hide-san. Consider your secret safe with me. Don't worry about that. So how about it, do you want to get back in the club and grab that bottle? I'll be willing to take a rain cheque for another time."

“Sounds good to me.” Hide picks herself up off the bench, giving her back a little stretch before her gaze found itself back on Eriko. “I did pay for that bottle. I kind of want to drink some instead of have it go to waste.”

"And I apparently gave you the idea, so I would feel partially responsible if some top-shelf stuff got lost there. I'm not a big boozer but that's a tragedy by Crab standards, I'll have you know," she smirked as she stood to join her, "Shall we, then?"

“Of course.” Hide motioned for Eriko to lead the way, a bit less ragged in her steps for the time being. Any distraction from how she was feeling was welcome, after all.

And they returned to the club to rescue some alcohol from some potentially grabby hands.
