He gave the Shinjo the 'did you listen to what I just said?' look. He still never understood why he had to use that look so often.

By now Akagi had refreshed his drink and rejoined the conversation about wildlife.

"Are you planning another expedition to the forest, then, Kitsune-sama?" he asked. "It seems a fascinating place."

"Ohyes. I'llbeoutthereeverydayifIgetthechance."

He nodded enthusiastically.

Yul gave the newcomer a quick bow. "Bayushi-san. Shinjo Yul."

He nodded to Izumi, smiling. "Yeah, Kitsune-sama was telling us a bit about his first trip. And maybe a bit about ideas to plan for another."

His eyebrows went up. "Every day, huh? And I thought Unicorn liked adventure." He flashed a quick smile at Ganbold.

"I'm Bayushi Akagi," the Scorpion replied, bowing politely to the Shinjo.

"I should like to see more of the forests and other untamed parts of Asakaze, as well," Akagi admitted. "I'm sure there are many more interesting animals living out there. If it's convenient for the two of you, perhaps I might join one of your trips out there sometime?"

"Hopetoseesomelizardscloserupnexttime."

He gestured his arms out to indicate size.

"Wesawagiantcentipedethisbigtoday. Beforethefungalbloom."

Yul looked around at the little group assembled. "The ATVs seat four, right? There's four of us right now."

"Minehasfourseats,yes."

He nodded.

"AlthoughIhavesaidI'dloanitouttoAlliancemembers, butIpaidforitsoIgetdibs."

"Kitsune-san is a wise man, invoking dibs." Ganbold nodded sagely as he tapped out some gas-mask specs and zinged them over to Yul by communicator.

"Well, I suppose? Everyone here seems to be on the young side though, so I sure hope that that hasn't happened to anyone! Wait, are you saying that I look old enough for this to be my second miai?"

She giggles, clearly jesting and unable to take Jin seriously. In her defense though, the festive atmosphere makes it difficult to take anyone seriously, especially if the person you're talking to has a tiny pet monkey the size of a finger. She then straightens her posture and wanders to the food with Jin, cupping Yube with both hands so he hopefully doesn't try to jump onto the food.

"I'd love some, um, whatever that is though."

(ooc is the meat on plates or are we just handed giant skewers or do we get to choose? should this be a question for the gms)

Jin smiled nervously. "Gomen, no, Bayushi-sama looks lovely! And young! And..." He coughed. "Gomen. Not my usual environment here." The tiny monkey seemed to be content so far sitting in her hands, but very very curious about everything around her. "Smells great...I think it's some kind of local lizard. Or bird. Or fish? I assume?" He moved closer requesting a plate or however it was served.

Izumi shrugged.

"Ipaidforit."

"Seems reasonable to me." Yul said cheerfully. "Although hey, if you wanna look out the window while one of us drive, that's cool too."

He gave Ganbold a nod; he assumed that the Moto could drive!

"Droveitmyselftoday, butdefinitelymissedoutonseeingsomethings."

He considered matters. Unicorn were supposed to be masterful drivers.

"Sure, letmeknowwhenyouwanttogo."

Ganbold nodded seriously. "Will do, Kitsune-san!"
