She tried being more positive, but she had to be more honest to herself. She was deeply ashamed that she couldn’t perform to the best of her abilities today. Hide wasn’t sure if that or her aching muscles hurt more. Well, actually, she was. Physical pain wasn’t that bad. But emotional? She can’t deal with that. Just keep it to yourself. She sighed, slipping further into the hot pool. At least it wasn’t actually hot. |

While a certain Unicorn who was about to join her had taken it easy this morning, deciding biathlons are not his thing and it's better to stay in bed longer, or do something closer to his interests. The challenge the Phoenix presented seemed more tedious than spectacular, and too draining for a very faint promise of reward. The day before he had done a very good job in breaking in the otori, and the judges didn't even notice. So why care? Bath, on the other hand, was auto-gratifying. Immerse and be relaxed and pleased. Ruhe expected to meet someone at this hour, and in fact there was someone he might be vaguely recalling from the club. "Is it okay with you that I hop in?" He asked the brooding occupant, his forehead unmarred by furrows of worry. |

“Baths are for everyone.” Hide looked up, her expression had quickly changed to something more neutral. “So of course I would not mind at all.” Still, this Unicorn was familiar to her. Ah, right, the guy at the club. She gave him a respectful nod, as bowing was hard to do while seated in a bath. “You were at the club last night, yeah?” |
