The day was hot. Not in a warm, pleasant sort of way, but just downright unpleasant. Normally, Fusako was one for the hot spring water, the heat doing wonders for her aches and muscles, but today she wanted the nice, brisk water of the cold water pool.

Her rinsing was the same, but getting in was a lot easier, and for what the day was, a lot more satisfying. She found a spot to relax along the edge and laid back, her face in the hot sun a nice contrast.

"Hey!" Another presence announced himself soon after, from some distance, so that the lady was not caught unaware. Thudding steps followed. "Mind if I join you in there?" Ruhe was towel-wrapped waist-down, and smile-dressed chin-up.

Fusako looked over curiously before smiling. She does to bow, an arm covering her chest in a nod to modesty before she slipped into the cool waters once more. "Well if it isn't Moto-san. Of course I wouldn't mind. The day's far too hot to deny anyone the opportunity to cool off after all."

"Thanks, that's awesome of you. It's really hot!" Ruhe bowed and slipped in, taking care of modesty only perfunctorily while throwing the towel away, then stretched and sighed. "Ah, goosebumps." He smirked feeling out the skin on his arm. "How's your day?"

Fusako lay back again as she settled, arms on the edge of the bath. "Oh, certainly not perfect after my robot's performance earlier, but it can't be helped. Certainly it's looking up." She gave a bright smile.

"And how about your own?"

"Robot? It went..." Ruhe did a simulation of an explosion with his hands and an vivid onomatopoeia, but he didn't seem unhappy about it. "Day? Other than that, just starting really. I plan on hitting the garden and doing some music later today, should be good. Do you plan on some fun activities too?"

That brought out a light chuckle. "I suppose that depends on what you call fun. I'll certainly try to stay engaged. I have dinner plans for later, and I'd like to visit YuRaku again. A nice bath is quite enjoyment enough though."

"Sounds fun to me!" He agreed, then chuckled. "Seems you like bathing a lot! I get it though, it's really nice." He rolled his shoulders before adjusting his position a bit. "They have a good swimming pool at the centre too. It's usually uncrowded for some reason."

"I've been there as well. Quite nice indeed," she noted, smiling softly. "I hail from Isora's Rest, a world of oceans, so it shouldn't be too surprising that I enjoy it. You get used to wearing nothing but water after a while, so to speak."

"Nothing but water sounds very dripping." He adjusted his position for no apparent reason. "But I get the appeal. I sometimes compose music like that."

"Very dripping, hm?" She raised an eyebrow before leaning forward with an amused look, pressing her arms together hands on her knees. "Do tell me more about composing Moto-san. I've known my share of musicians, but never heard anything about the process."

"For me, the process takes shutting off the outer noise, so I mostly think of lyrics and melodies when diving, though it's not a rule. Sometimes a song comes on a spur of a moment, building on something meaningful that has happened recently." He honestly explained, changing his exhalation from one to release tension into appearing thoughtful.

"It's not too surprising that it sounds much like the process of coming up with fashion ideas," she noted, swimming closer to sit a more polite proximity to Ruhe. "Though, there's also something to be said for gaining inspiration from outer noise, yes?"

"Yes, there is! It involves taking that noise in and letting in inflate and percolate until... boom!..." He hit the water with open palm, looking straight at the approaching Crane. "The wild music pumps the veins!"

Settling into a seat along the edge nearby, Fusako couldn't help giving a laugh quietly into a wrist. "My, so wild. I suppose we both have our own ways of expressing ourselves. You and your music seem more loud and direct, and I can respect that. My designs are much more silent, but for all that, I like to think their boldness speaks volumes as well."

"You mean your clothes, right? Yeah, they're bold. Underscore feminine curves and all that, to the point it's hard to look away from." Ruhe nodded in agreement. "I think I can respect that too!" He smirked, looking ahead of him as if looking sideways at Fusako posed an issue.

Fusako's own gaze remained on Ruhe, and she gave a bit of a smirk at his seeming etiquette. She did, at the least, keep her eyes up. "Not all are meant to accentuate, but certainly the one I wore to the club was meant to. I'm glad you appreciated it Moto-san. Truth told, I've been meaning to expand my men's wear as well, but I fear I have no good subjects to practice on back home."

"You have no men back home?" The worst Crane stereotypes of effeminacy flashed through Ruhe's mind but he condemned himself for those. Instead, he pushed his thoughts toward a fantastic utopia of fashionable Saphonic communities on Asahina worlds, with busty maidens in skimpy clothing riding pegasi and singing hymns to the kami to the sound of trumpets.

She gave a low laugh. "There are on the planet certainly, but not in Isora Fashion. Well, other than my father of course, but he's quite conservative. It's only a thought, but I'd likely test designs on my partner regardless. Not much for dressing up Moto-san?"

"Why not? I like a good second skin as much as the first one!" He laughed back, his gaze drifting to her involuntarily. "And for the stage, something showy can underscore the flare of the performance. I still default to comfy black leathers most of the time though."

He somehow braved her proximity. "So you want a fashion model for a husband?"
