A cool night breeze sweeps through the city streets signaling the end of the day. The distant hum of motor vehicles and horns blaring in aggressive traffic slowly fade. Even the crowds passing by, their shoes clicking off the concrete like the pitter patter of heavy rain, vanish leaving these streets a lifeless void. Filling that empty void came the radiant city lights matching those shining stars above. A window out to the galaxy afar and the many planets that make up the empire.

Nakaba slowly walked these streets looking upward. Imagining the distance between here and home. The chances of any of his family looking up towards that same sky and unknowing looking at each other. It was a thought that brought him comfort no matter how far his duties took him. He continues his causal walk away from the inn and down a leisurely path of the upper city.

The Moshi didn't want to walk the streets without her bag. Even though she needed to release some energy or perhaps frustration. She needed to center herself. Atena walked head down not watching where she was going specially because she singing to her densai. She should buy some headphones but with the little stipend that she receives probably has to make due.

Noticing the familiar singing traveling behind him, Nakaba stops and turns. "Uhm..." He hardly speaks up as the distracted lady continues marching straight at him. With a relaxed posture, he just held his ground in the middle of the sidewalk hoping she'll take notice before crashing into him. Ready to catch her and that densai should she stumble

Atena didn't look up from her densai, running into the Yasuki. "Are... Go... gomenasai..." She bowed and then looked up. "Ah, Yasuki san... nice to see you."

With a small bump Atena crashed into the yasuki. The palms of his hands outward as if to catch her but completely unneeded. That weird gesture held for a moment, appearing as if he was to fend off an attack, as he hops back giving her room to bow. "Hai. Nice to see you too." He lowers his awkward stance and speaks with his head held high. "What are you doing out here alone this time at night? Streets could be filled with criminals and all sorts of unsavory folk. Very dangerous." He says with a smirk.

The girl blinked a few times and frowned. "You think I can't defend myself. What kind of samurai you think I am? A poor defenseless girl? Oh please." Her tone was a bit rugged still a tint of that melodic voice the Moshi had previously. She examined the man from the shoes up. "I think I could take you down."

"ah AH please don't my priestess! Have mercy!" he feigns helplessness before snapping back with a bright smile. "Most assuredly with the kami's aid you could. Why expend the effort? After all those kami are quite fickle. Why not instead hire this young foolish man to be your yojimbo for the night? Thugs come running you got someone to trip to slow em down." It is very easy to tell that this punk enjoys his own humor a little too much.

With a proud smile, the Komori trained girl nodded. "Very well... You shall be my protector for the night, Crab san." She looked around and didn't know where she was. "Crab san where are we?"

"I believe we are at... 492th street and lotus avenue." Nakaba points towards the digital street signs on the corner. "Approximately three blocks from the Wisteria Inn and standing on the edge of the pleasure district." He motions down the street towards some blaring energetic lights that was the starcade and the night club Kayama.

"More importantly than where we are is where are we going? Where shall I escort you my lady?" he gestures towards the open path like a proper servant. The man displaying an excellent etiquette that one would expect from a professional chauffeur.

"Finally some civilized person. I would like to get a drink." She looked at her sensei. "She left instructions... hahaha... like I care." She motioned the Yasuki. "Shall we go, Crab san?"

"Uhm... Sure?" Nakaba says with a puzzled tone. Pretty soon the two begun their walk over towards the pleasure district. The tame lights of the city transforming into bright neon and the booming music of nearby clubs. Instead nakaba pulls them over towards a small basement bar. The place decorated with a bright wooden furnish and a very clean atmosphere. The quiet tune of a koto playing from a wall speaker, this relaxing atmosphere only interrupted should anyone pick up the karaoke machine.

Nakaba takes a seat at the bar. "Whiskey on the rocks and...?" He lets Atena answer that.

"A dirty martini." She nodded taking a seat beside the Yasuki. "So does my personal guard has a name or shall I continue calling you Crab san?"

He pays for both their drinks and they are quickly served. "Come on I can't be that forgettable. It's Yasuki Nakaba remember? Gave a big introduction in front of ms. maximum range?"

She rolled her eyes. "I see... Yasuki san this may sound strange but I don't remember any of that." She sipped her glass. "You probably are talking about that Moshi girl that seems shy and insolent."

"What?" This is starting to get a little creepy. "Is this some trick? Some sort of joke?"

The Komori trained girl sighed with a sort of growl. "No joke, no trick and no... I am not a twin. Not a joke. I am Komori Kystal." She gave a seated bow. "One might think that I am the non shy and more outgoing part of Moshi san." She finished her Martini.

"Oookkk..." He akwardly returns the bow and takes a long sip of his drink. He's gonna need it. "I might not the most pious of samurai but is this sort of thing normal for the moshi?"

"Let me explain... I am me... She is she. She is frail and fickle. She calls me out when she needs someone more... forward. That is me... the more fiery and spicy." Kystal nodded "A for normality is there anything normal in this universe?"

"We define our own normal. This... is something special to say the least." He takes another smaller sip of his glass before setting it down. "Alright I'll bite Moshi Kystal. So if the frail and fickle needed a little more flare then what exactly are you trying to accomplish that she couldn't?" he asks not in disbelief but curiosity.

She started poking his nose with each sylable "Ko... Mo...Ri..." She giggled. "For once to defend the poor soul. She doesn't have the strength to do it on her own. Second to have fun. Have you seen all the books in this densai."She points to the bag. "We need a story of our own. So I come to play..."She giggled. "I like fun... don't you?"
