"You have a good point, though I don't think she really has any desire to join the Mantis." He offered Chiyoko a wry smile. "We're not the most popular Clan in the galaxy last i checked. I'll still run it by her, I mean there isn't really any reason not to."

"But i'm not going to marry her if she doesn't want to join my clan, and that's likely how it would turn out as things stand."

"Right, right politics and stuff," she nodded slowly on that note. She wasn't the one getting married and it was easy to forget that aspect of a miai. "You could try? I still don't know why they didn't just do this on your densai...you can just go to options and filter out everyone who is of this or that. Then you just get the people you know are right and go from there. Sooo, do you at least meet everyone here?"

"As many as I can." He replied with an easy smile. "I mean sometimes I end up driving around wrestling stars instead though." Hayato added his tone a bit teasing.

"I mean even if the politics get in the way of marriage, it doesn't mean I still can't make a friend."

"Someone had to draw the short end of the stick, right?" she snickered.

"How long are you going to be here at the miai? Seems about right because, hey, you're stuck together for a few days. It seems kind of a dick move to make enemies around here."

That earned the wrestler a playful jab to the shoulder from his elbow. "Hey, I wouldn't call it the short end." His eyes flicked down to her legs and his tone turned teasing. "Maybe the thigh end, but definitely not the short end."

"As for the time? About six more days? Maybe longer if my ride out is delayed?" He nodded along to her words. "You are right about the enemy thing though, it's bad business to hurt feelings when you're supposed to be getting lovey dovey?"

Chiyoko chuckled at the jab until she noticed her his attention was and put a hand on her lap. "Har, har, good one there...I guess I know where your attention was when I wrestled."

"That's only half-time until the end of the whole thing. I think still got time, Tsuruchi-sama! It almost seemed like you doubted her options here. Maybe first impressions are out but you could consider second and third? You're important enough," she said with a gesture of her hand about his person.

That earned a chuckle, but his eyes were back on the road. "I suppose I can't deny it, my companion was taking interest in your outfit and I thought it wise to study it." The Mantis offered playfully.

"I guess you're right though, we're at the intermission as it were. It's a bit of a shame to throw in the towel without exhausting all my options."

"You know your option then I do. I already gave you my suggestions and I know like...none of these people. I'm just a tourist here, so..." she shrugged.

"I think I can hike it back to the city from here, you can let me off if you can," she gave the ATV a few smacks against the frame for the universal vehicle language of 'stop'. "Thanks for the ride and the chat, Tsuruchi-sama. We can take a few pictures now if you'll like."

"You make a good point, and well thanks for the advice." Hayato replied pulling the car over and coming to a stop.

"Mmm... Thanks again for the offer, but I think I like leaving it here." His lips curled into a smile. "Have a good day Hiruma-sama."

Chiyoko got out of the vehicle and gave a pat on the door after she got out. "You too, Tsuruchi-sama. Hope things look up for you! Easy."

She placed the strap of her bag on her shoulders and gave him a bow, then a salute.

He offered a nod in return from his seat, it was the best he could do in the vehicle.

"Enjoy your vacation, Hiruma-sama." He offered with an easy smile as he made his way off.
