"There was a guidebook?" He echoed the Osprey.

"Ah, that might work....and wow. Those lizards..." He seemed to be quite interested in it. "Do you think they're hostile?"

"Noguidebook, justalltheinfoIcoulddigoutofthePhoenixnetwhileIwaswaitingfortheshuttle."

And partially the reason why he'd missed three and had to take the late nighter that three of them had been on.

"I mean," she leans back in her seat, letting the ceiling come into focus. "lizards I've run into were all pretty much happy to eat whatever fit in their mouths...and tended to overestimate what'd fit. So...hostile? hungry? Same difference to us if we're smaller'n it is."

"Might not even see Yube though, at that size."

Jin clutched Yube. "Okay buddy, next time you're staying home." Man, that was a scary thought.

"Ohyeah, lilmonkeybesnacksizetosomeoftheselizards. Iexpecttheyeatinsectsmainlybutsomemightbeopportunists."

He activated the engine and started them off slowly on a meandering route back to civilisation. Much more slowly than they had travelled out here.

"I think I'll hit the library later. See if can find anything useful on the giant predatory lizards. And anything else that looks nasty." He patted his pistol absently. At least they didn't have a pirate problem here

"Theressupposedtbesomereallybiglizardsontheplains. Reallybig, likebuildingsizedbutthey'reherbivores."

They continued the sight seeing trundle back to the city.

Relaxing into her seat for the return ride, Mumei stares up at the passing landscape from under the edge of the back window.
