"I mean isn't that kind of the reason why they find themselves in the position ther are in? No real allies and most don't even consider them worthy of forming an alliance with." AS far as he could tell.

"Though I suppose I'm not really an expert on that sort of thing either."

"If either of us were, would we have been invited?"
Maybe that was why the governor wanted bushi?

"I've got no idea honestly. Then again I don't know why half these people were invited to the miai." It had seemed to be an eclectic mix after all.

The gates came into sight and he shook his head. "I mean nit even all of them are bushi."

It felt odd to see the gate after so long, like the two had been outside the city walls for days or even weeks

"I don't understand it at all."

"Yeah, but with two deaths thus far and poisonous mushrooms... Well, maybe it was supposed to be some sort of adventure miai?"

"Complete with damsels in distress to rescue?" He shrugged and looked at the gates.

"Seems we are about back now though."

"Yeah...yeah I guess we are."
There are a few long moments of silence
"...That was...a lot of everything, but mainly fun. Thanks for the ride Hayato-san."

"No Problem. But it did go just aout everywhere as far as conversations go."

He paused a moment thoughtfully. "You figure there is anything we forgot to talk about?"

"Probably."
She looks over with a genuine smile
"But we got the rest of our lives to keep the conversation going."

He smirked at that.

"Right."

Still the smile turned genuine a few moments later. "I wonder if folks are going to get tired of listening in on our calls?"

"Eh, who could get tired of batterball scores?"
She opens up the car door and steps out, stretching slowly after the long drive before turning back and bowing politely as the Lion was want to do.

"Until next time then, Hayato-san?"

"I'm sure someone can." He offered with a shrug. "Probably someone with not taste in sports."

He dipped his head in what could be considered a bow from his seat. "Until next time, Shoan-san." He comfirmed, waiting for her to close the door so he could take his leave.
