Shin for his part read out his prayer, the spirts of earth rushing to him. "Cease immediately, fools!" the lunatic found some use for his Free Action.

The Phoenix shugenja laughed as the brave Lion samurai fell, pointing his finger at Hyoen-ju, madness gleaming in his eyes. "Don't try to fight me darling, you will be my next creation!"

Chiyoko blinks a moment in surprise. Then looks down. That's not where her guts should be...

...she smiled to Hyeon-ju. Dropped to the ground. "Live..." she managed to choke out as the last of life faded from her eyes.

Seeing Chiyoko go down, Hyeon-ju grabbed the Lioness, refusing to believe she was actually dead.

While the Unicorn managed to tear down some of the tendrils, she was far from safe. The zombie gave chase to her through the studio, stumbling and fumbling as it swung at her, its claws striking against her back and leaving her grievously injured.

"Where you think you are going with her..." Realizing that his ward was following the samurai out-doors, the tsukai cursed. "Come back you idiot! You can't go there!" The zombie listened, freezing in place.

Crying in pain from the slash, she didn't relent, and hoped some of the force she used to push the door open would tear away more of the garment.

The zombie didn't follow for now and Hyeon-ju pushed on. "Hang in there..."

Rushing up the stairs as much as her injured body allowed her too, Hyeon-ju bumped against the railings in hopes of tearing off the flesh-eating dress while she carried the body of Chiyoko.

At least it wasn't latching onto her friend. Small blessings.

She crossed the street in a hurry and settled Chiyoko down, and began her own battle of tearing off the blapshempous fashion. She cried in pain as ripping it out from her skin caused her excruciating pain, and she managed to tear off a fair bit, but it also felt like for each part she managed to tear away, another was digging itself deeper in.

"KAMI, HELP ME!" she wasn't sure if she was actually calling upon Shinjo-Kami, Otaku-shiryo, or just for anyone to come and help her.

Shit, shit, shit... Chiyoko needed an amulance. Things didn't look right. And her skin had lost color...

The garment would not go without a fight, the warm and sticky cloth clinging to the Unicorn woman all they way through, Hyoen-ju only managing to get it off when a rather surprised, but quick thinking commoner rushed to her help, the young woman terrified when she saw the the garment cling to her fingers. "Ahh, Kami!" Eventually the two would prevail, managing to peel the blasphemous creation of the Utaku samurai, discarding it on the ground


"In the name of the Kami and the Fortunes!" The commoner swore, stomping on what remained on Shin's creation as it tried to slither away. Then she realized that that the samurai the Unicorn had dragged out was very much dead, falling to her knees in shock. "Kami..."

"Thank you..." she managed to say in a strained voice, too relieved to be freed to actually care that a commoner had been touching her.

"We..." Hyeon-ju swallowed, "we need to call... the magistrate. And help for Matsu-san."

Trembling her hands went through Chiyoko's pockets to find her communicator. Her own was in the pocket of her jeans, which was back there.

"Uh... yes?" the young woman pulled out her communicator, handing it to Hyeon-ju, her hands shaking as she averted her eyes. Her voice was meek, the woman not quite having yet realized what she had done or what she stood witness to. "Samurai-sama!" she added, covering further down, realizing she had forgotten her manners.

Bobbing her head, Hyeon-ju took the communicator and... praised that she had memorized the planetary-information on the shuttle as she entered the emergency number to the authorities. Thankfully they made these numbers fairly short and easy to remember.

She mustered up all her composure to not scream over the line like a madwoman, but the poor Phoenix on the other side of the line probably had their day pretty ruined when the Battle Maiden spoke of "maho", and "flesh-eating mushroom-fabric". Hopefully they didn't think she was insane when she dropped the name Isawa Shin as well as her current location and his adress in Shantytown. And that her friend needed medical help quickly too.

As the call concluded she dialed the only number she could remember at the top of her head; her wingmate. Whatever Yul was doing didn't cross her mind, if he was asleep or messing around with his Osprey, but whatever was going on as soon as he picked up he got a full paniced ramble about what had happened. And eventually where she was.
