Hayato took a seat at the bar of the drunk'n crab, he had gotten a bit of a haircut earlier in the day and was playing his hands across the shaved sides.

He wasn't sure he liked it, but it was what it was, and hair didn't regrow on a whim. Glancing at the door he waited for his clanmate to arrive . It shouldn't be long really.

As expected the Moshi did arrive. She blinked a few times looking at Hayato's new cut. It has been a while since they last met, she as well has a new hair color. She sat next to Hayato. "New hair cut huh?"

"Seemed like a good day for it." Hayato replied with a half smile. "Seems you had a bit of change too though Moshi-san." His gaze drifted up to the young woman's hair. "I like it."

"Yeah... I just needed something new." She nodded. "It has been a while neh... How are things Tsuruchi san?"

"About the same as they always are." Hayato replied with a half smile. "Hopefully you're doing a bit better? Maybe found someone you want to marry?"

He raised his hand to the bartender to order a beer, looking towards Atena to see if she wished to join him.

The girl nodded to join in the drinking. "Anooo... well... Etooo..." She was blushing. "Benten seem to smile upon the least fortunate souls." The girl sighed. "I am still working things out."

"I'm glad to hear." At least one of them seemed to find a measure of love. The beers arrived and the bartender poured half the cans into small glasses. "I knew you'd find someone. Even if there is a bit to be worked out."

She nodded. "The day is still young Tsuruchi san... and one doesn't know what lurks in the dark." She bit her lower lip. "Tsuruchi san what do you think it would happen if...." She sipped her beer

"If?" He asked looking at the young woman for a few moments, his lips tugged into a warm smile.

"I don't even want to jinx it." She sighed. "With all the crazy things happening... Lost my roommate... so... yeah... no jinx." The girl shook het head.

"I can understand that. It's been a crazy few weeks." He brought his glass up to his sips to take a sip. "Guess that means I don't get to hear about who is making you do all that blushing though." Hayato finished his tone a bit teasing.

She took the glass and took another sip. "You know... maybe I should ask about you and a certain Lion." The girl teased as she poked his arm. "I tease..." She smiled.

"Shoan-san." He asked his lips curling into a teasing smile. "We're friends and it will be nothing more then that. It's not a match either of us could afford to pursue after all."

He seemed content when he said as much, though his smile was a little teasing as he glanced at the Moshi. "If you want to tease me you're going to have to try harder then that A-ten-a-san."

"Yeah... It was worth a shot... no pun intended." The Moshi chuckled. "What would think me joining the Crab?"

"I would not think of it as a wise place for you to go. Not when our clan is likely to be in conflict with them in the near future." One marriage was unlikely to change that either.

"I take it that a member of that clan has approached you though?"

"Yeah... I am also considering members of the Alliance. You know the Spider and the Crane." She nodded.

He sighed softly and offered her a warm smile. "I'm glad to hear Moshi-san, but in the end I'm gonna say follow your heart if you can. Whether that be to the crab or elsewhere."

"I've already taken steps to try and keep all our allies happy."

"HEY!" She stuck her tongue out at the Tsuruchi. "Really... you are quoting my own words back to me." Then she hit the Tsuruchi with a light punch. "I give good advice... just to be reminded of it."

"I'd say it's pretty decent advice." He countered with a grin. "After all only one of us can actually follow it."

"And as I've already turned down two chances at it. Well, it should be you." Hayato offered as he brought his cup to his lips and took another sip.

"I might need some good advice, Hayato san." Must be important for the Moshi using the Tsuruchi's taken name. "What should I aspire... for someone who understands me and know most of my flaws... or someone who will sacrifice everything for me to be happy but doesn't know who I really am?"
