"Thats a tough one, Atena-san." Hayato replied after a moment, before picking up his beer can and topping off his drink. "Do you think the second person would treat you ant differently if he knew of all your flaws?'

She looked down at her half filled glass. "I... I... I think he wouldn't mind... but I am not sure."

He nodded thoughtfully. "That's a good thing then, it means that those feelings won't likely stagnant and change, at least not quickly."

Bringing his glass to his lips he took a gulp of the amber liquid. "To answer though. As a samurai, I'd pick the first, understanding and acceptance can lead to love even if its not present currently. I also think it has the better chance of lasting for years. Devotion on the other hand can be dangerous outside of our devotion to our Lord. It can risk the honor of you, your spouse and your clan.

"As a brother though? I would encourage my little sister to do what makes her happiest. Or at least what she thinks will, and I can't fault someone for being devoted to her."

The girl smiled. Then he should have known what was coming the girl gave the Tsuruchi a hug. "Arigatou!" She wouldn't hold him long. "Next time don't cut your hair so short. Leave some for ruffling."

He reached over a hand to ruffle the moshi's hair,

"I think i'm fine with this length." He observed his tone a bit teasing. "Still I'm happy if I was able to help at least a little."

"Your insight is welcome and recommendations are taken into consideration." The Moshi giggled as he ruffled her hair. "You know, you could rock a surfer look."

"I'm not sure how the phoenix would take to me walking around the miai in swimtrunks and a tank top... I suppose I could give it a try though, I do own a pair of sunglasses." He mused,his smile playful as he glanced at Atena.

"Well you could parade around the bay." She shook her head. "Have you visited it?"

"You mean the fungus covered beach full of murky water?" Hayato asked raising an eyebrow. "Yeah i went by a few days ago. It had a nice appeal from a distance at least. If you want a real nice view though, you should go flying."

The Moshi giggled. "Flying on top of an Otori..." She probably shouldn't continue drinking.

He hadn't expected her to be such a light weight, but well she was young. Taking her can of beer he topped off his glass again. "A flying Otori would be a odd thing to find."

Atena laughed. "I was being silly, otori can't fly." She took another sip of her beer. "But gliding sounds like fun."

He shook his head. "Aye, and they have something like wings." Another sip of beer. "I could see them gliding for at least a little ways."

"They have tiny wings. I don't think they can carry the weight nor glide. Maybe a feather fall." She giggled.

He snorted at that, chuckling lightly. "Maybe."

"I guess you quite liked those birds as well? They seem to be pretty popular around here."

"They are kind of cute." The Moshi nodded. "I have a plushie of one and a red crab plushie too."

"Seems you made quite the haul then." Hayato replied with a chuckle. "I've got a few pictures and a few souvenirs for my sisters, but thus far I've done a lot more giving."

"If I could I would. But things seems to be on the skinny cow side on my part. Had to buy new clothes and a dress. So I don't have that much left."

He blinked at that, was the Moshi pour? That was a strange thought. "Well, if you really have a need for something let me know. I am sure something can be worked out."

"I'll make due... I don't want to bother you." She shook her head. "I will play some games at the festival."
