"They are the colors of your clan... Daidoji san." She looked at the bat then at her drink. The girl sighed.

"Yes they are, and the fancy Clan crest on the hood. I know it might be rather extravagant. The model was not much, but professional paint job was. But it was meant you. So, yeah, I would like you to take it." He gives her the puppy dog eyes.

"I will take good care of it." She smiled. "I never asked you... do you name your cars?"

"Um, well I didn't until I got into driving in school. But, yes, I named my car after that." I feels a bit sheepish. "It's just a car guy or girl thing. Car people feel connented to their cars. I guess, it woundn't be any 'weirder' than you named your plushies."

"I name special plushies. I could tell you who is that." She pointed to the plushie. "Her name is Kara. I feel she will keep you good company."

"Kara, huh? I like the name. Well, I didn't come up with a good name for this model, but my real civilian car is named Megumiko." He looks down at the model.

"I shall name it Megumi." She giggled. "She will be a very close friend... She will remind me of the adventures in Asakaze with the cute Daidoji Kamui." She moved the car closer to her.

"Oh, you think I'm cute, huh? Well, I believe I said something to that affect when I was with Mamei-san and Ichika-san after our first meeting." He points his glass towards her and moves it back to take sip.

"Unless you want me to describe you as the cold stoic Crane... anooo... Don't be that man... Be happy." She looked down at her new car. "Megumi chan think cute is better. Hai... and that Daidoji san should not worry about her. Atena chan will take good care of her." The girl nodded in approval.

"Yeah, well really didn't know what you wanting with you at first, so I was in battle mode." He swirls he glass around a few times. "I don't know. But, the ceremony is done." He takes a long sip. "Whatever..." He takes a minute. "So, I have a question for you. How long before you start uses my given name?"

She nodded. "I just want you to be happy even if I am not by your side. If you need my help I am just a call away." The girl moved her chair closer and embraced the Daidoji. "Kamui san, it will be okay."

He embraced Atena as well. "I want you to be happy too, Atena-san. But, duty and honor before happiness. But, ya never know how things will end up. If nothing else, I'll delve into racing after the army, and that will bring me happiness."

He lets go. He thinks about what might have been for a moment. "Alright, we can do that."

"Then keep that chin up and take care of Kara like she was your child. I'll take care of Megumi as well." She motioned out her pinky. "My aunt told me that interlaced pinkies are magical promises... will you?"

He looks down at her outstretched pinky, then back to her. "Alright, you have a deal." He puts his pinky up to hers.

The Moshi smiled. "So... that is a magical promise if you break it i'll know." The girl giggled. "We look like children."

"Yeah, but I don't care. Do you? And, I promise you." He smiles to her.

"I am an air shugenja. The air like to play and make me feel like a child in some ways." The girl nodded.

"I think that means no. Alright." He knows he's miss that type of thing her says, and he has no ideas.
