Akemi parked her bike in the courtyard of the abandoned building. Spider status: Exactly the worst possible outcome they were trying to avoid since day one. She went inside and carried out, one by one, some heavy sandbags that she had eyed the last time she came here. Most likely those were supposed to be used for the construction before the project was abandoned. Lion status: Busy with internal conflicts. She arranged the boxes and the bags outside, making an obstacle course and training dummies out of them. Unicorn status: Lost with one hand what they earned with the other. She wrapped her tetsubo in a now empty bag to make it less destructive. Scorpion status: Playing Scorpion games. She put on her armor. Crab status: Barely stood their ground at high personal cost. She gripped her weapon with one hand. Upcoming war projection: Bad. She closed her helmet's visor. Upcoming war only acceptable outcome: Victory. She put on her stance, feet, knees, hips, back, shoulders, ankles, all in position. Path to victory: Enduring. No regret. No whining. No doubt. Standing strong. Hitting hard. And she struck the bag with all her might. |
