He was dressed for working out. His pack strapped to his back. The Obsidian Magistrate had found a good path along the Perimeter Wall. He checked his pulse as he jogged along, making sure to stay visible, but out of the way of any city patrols. Even here, one could not stop their habits for physical activity. And going to the pool... he would need a day before heading back there. |

Normally, Fusako was one to keep her working out to the privacy of her own home with a personal trainer. Even here, she had found the dojo an adequate replacement. That meant, in the end, that her visit to the perimeter wall was more a tour than one of any sort of physical activity. She had made it a point to see more of the city that morning, and her first place had been the wall. Wearing a white dress and carrying a matching parasol in case of rain, she was gazing out over the world outside the walls. So different than back home... it was like night and day... |

The crack of thunder and the skies opened. Ryuu wasn't concerned. How many times had he run in the rain back home? Or worse, concerned with the potential for Gaki strikes. He pressed on, maintaining good time as he completed part of his path. Rain ran down his face, his hair soaked, but it did not concern him. It would help clear his mind, focusing on his footing. As he moved across the wall perimeter, he saw the white dress and parasol. His icy blues focused, and he slowed down as he approached. "Good Morning, Crane-san." Ryuu called, staying an appropriate distance away. |

The Crane didn't seem bothered by the rain either. It was a good parasol after all, and she came from a planet that rained all the time. She gave only a slight bow, more out of necessity so she stayed dry than anything else. "Spider -san. It is raining quite hard. Perhaps you should see an overhang? I fear I don't have enough room under my umbrella for much more, though I could try." |

He raised a hand to shield his face from the rain, before looking about. There was a small overhang nearby, and he nodded. "Your kindness in offering to try and have me fit beneath your parasol is most welcome, but I could not risk you getting wet on account of me, Crane-san." He nodded, a smile gracing his features, though it seemed a little... off. Making his way to the overhang, he reached into his pack, pulling free a small towel, wiping the rain from his face. Looking to her with his intense icy blues, he bowed again. "This one is Daigotsu Ryuu. Doshin from the Magistrates Office, Shiragiku." |

Following the Spider over with slow steps, she made her way under the overhang as well before shaking her umbrella off away from them both. At his introduction, she raised an eyebrow and smiled with a touch of amusement. "Ah, so we meet at last Daigotsu-san. This one is Asahina Fusako of Isora Fashion." |

"I was not aware I was a famous name." He smiled, "you have me at a disadvantage then, Asahina-san. But it is very nice to meet you." The towel was replaced into the pack, before standing at a relaxed posture. "What brings you out in such weather?" |

"I have no wish to stay inside all day merely because of the rain," she commented. "A nice walk out is quite refreshing, after all. As for yourself, I am actually not quite certain how famous or not you are. There is a Spider nakodo present for the miai that happened to mention you by name and said I should meet you. It seems the weather's done his job for him." |

Ryuu focused on her face, his icy blues vibrant, even in the gloomy weather. "And like you, rain is not enough to keep me cooped up. The wall seemed a good place to run." |

"It would at the very least keep me from exercising outdoors Daigotsu-san. The chill of the rain can be quite detrimental to one's health. I trust you know what's best for yourself, but you you can never be too careful." There seemed to be a touch of genuine concern in her tone as she commented. |

If the Crane was indeed disturbed at all, it seemed she didn't show it at all, though she also didn't maintain total eye contact, looking out over the city. "Ah, always the first question in a meeting. It's been pleasant enough I think, with many interesting people to meet and things to do. It is not quite home, but it is like a holiday of sorts. What of you Daigotsu-san?" |

He grinned a bit, "True, it is the standard fare by now, is it not. But a good way to gauge. It has been interesting. My first time outside of Spider space, yet with such purpose. It feels ... both enjoyable and with great pressure, no?" He turned to face the city with her, looking on from their vantage point. "I only hope that I prove myself worthy of a spouse who wishes to build something from this together." |

He doubted Katsuo had any benevolent motive. Only the stated goals, but still, it was... encouraging... to be thought of in such a manner. "Then I certainly have to do all I can to live up to the recommendation, Asahina-san." His smile wss genuine, though a hint of red in his cheeks. Likely from the running. "It seems like the festivities are moving quickly. Feels like only yesterday we all just arrived." |

She shrugged faintly at the comment. "I suppose you could say that, hai. I tend to live in the moment, so days are all a steady constant when you live like that. I look at it more as there still being quite a bit of time left until the ending ceremony. Plenty of time for meetings and discoveries." |

Two of your delegation for certain, and a few others I have briefly met that I would enjoy getting to know more." He focused again on her. "I am sure you will ask who, and I will answer that. But I also ask if there is anyone who has caught your eye?" His arms folded across his chest. "Daidoji Ishiyo-san, and Doji Ichika-san." |

There was a moment's pause, but no hesitation. "As for myself, it is a fair sized list. Yasuki Nishida and Hida Akemi from the Crab, Suzume Shion from the Sparrow, Moto Ruhe from the Unicorn, Susumu Geppu, Susumu Nara, and Kuchiki Tsugiharu from your own clan. There are others I plan on meeting as well to see how they are." |
