She'd intended to toss in her own coins, but it was a bit late to object. She does offer Yul a look of fond exasperation as she picks the toy off the counter. The lightweight plastic gun almost certainly feels nothing like a real one.

Unself-conscious, she settles it to her shoulder. And certainly her performance experience allows her to mimic the movements with some confidence.

But that's about as far as mimicry can take her. How much is 'a little high?' Does that mean aiming near the top of the target to hit the center? Or above the target entirely? After a long moment of considering the question, she points the silly thing just a bit above the target; which doesn't seem to matter much as the balls fly well to the side. Setting it back down as she shakes her head, laughing. "Maybe they just have some of the cookies for sale elsewhere in the festival? Probably a quicker way to get them, yeah?"

Be still, Moriko reminded herself, but she could not steady her aim. At least, that was the excuse she gave herself as her next four shots also failed to hit their marks. There was only one Fortune left...

He would follow her shots, trailing after her targets. He would hit, then glance the next, hit again, and miss wide.

He still had 3 shots. He would not throw them away.

The Fortunes of Wisdom and Longevitiy, he made sure to put in the center between them.

Tsugiharu had considered the raffle game, and had an idea. It was silly, but he was bored, and the idea amused him. He plunked down 3 bu for 6 raffle strings, and then whispered a name before each pull.

"Moshi Atena."

He was a bit surprised to pull back a little clay fortune. Examining it, it appeared to be Haruhiko, Fortune of Fishermen.

"Nakauchi Mumei."

Raffle: 7

And again, his impromptu divination brought up another little clay fortune. This one, however, was quite unlucky. It was Ekiyogami. He made a warding symbol, and returned to the divination.

"Daidoji Shizuku."

Raffle: 9

He pulled yet again, and this time a 1' plush otori chick was retrieved.

"Doji Ichika."

Raffle: 2

That string came back empty.

"Daidoji Ishiyo."

Raffle: 9

Yet again, another pull, this one a 1' plush puppy.

"Asahina Fusako."

Raffle: 6

And one more fortune figurine, this one was Wu.

They had certainly not been the results he'd been expecting. He considered the five little prizes, and their meaning, while going over to one of the food vendors.

With her final dart, Moriko took aim at the last Fortune in the row. It was a hit. The attendant brought over the figurine. Secretly she was thrilled as the figure of Benten was placed in front of them. A sign, perhaps.

He would load the last three darts. Ryuu looked down at the set, thrn back up to the moving targets.

Three shots went off in quick succession. Seeing the collection, he chuckled. "Leave it to a Spider to be unable to get honest labor done." He winked at her, that self deprecating humor trying to add levity.

Moriko picked up Benten, it was the only one that was rightfully hers, tucking the Fortune into her obi near her new kami-pet. Waving her drink voucher, “let’s go cash these in, get out of people’s way.”

Shizuku entered the marketplace, dressed in a light blue yukata with a geometric pattern. The blue was interspersed with pale golden yellow, darker blue, and white, and cinched with a pale yellow obi. She looked around, seeming to search for something.

Yul laughed softly along with her. "Yeah, let's go have a look. We've had pretty good luck wandering around here before, huh?" He nodded, his head, indicating down the street. In fact, it looked like they weren't that far from where they'd first met.

He paused a moment, looking around. He recognized so many faces, many of them in couples. There was that odd friendly Spider with a Phoenix. Oh, there was Ichika, along with some others; Yul gave her a little wave and a smile. Other faces he recognized, Wasp of course, one of his roommates...

"Everyone looks really happy, don't they?" Yul said with a gentle smile, leaning a little closer to Mumei.

"Yeah." She smiles up at him, close enough to brush elbows as she shifts the plushie in her arms. "And yeah, we've had some great luck here. I've been thanking Benten quite a bit lately for their intervention in such a chance meeting." She considers asking what he might have been thinking of doing now if they'd never bumped into one another. But the thought makes her gut twist, and she decides this isn't the appropriate night for that.

Instead, she follows Yul's gaze to see who he's waving at, and brightens, raising the stuffed peacock lizard she waves enthusiastically.

From the food stall, he saw Daidoji Shizuka looking for something. He offered a friendly wave, not seeking to distract her if she had an objective in mind.

Her arms were starting to get full with prizes, but that didn't stop Hyeon-ju from finally taking a shot at the shooting-range. Pun intended.

Setting her sights on the biggest prize, her first shot missed the mark. Though not one to let that stop her, she paid up a few more coins and hit the bull's eye on the most difficult target.

"One Kami-pet for samurai-sama! Congratulations!"

As they approached,, Fusako gave bows to both ladies. After introduction were over, she held up her prizes. "A statue and a few plushies. I believe it's a fair evening, even if neither are to my tastes. Would either of you enjoy a large stuffed bird?"

Ryuu nodded, walking with her, after collecting the rest of their winnings. Thinking on his feet, the little figurines were tucked into his obi. He would have to find a place of honor later.

"The mood here is electric. Good to see so many enjoying themselves."

“Tanabata is a day when the impossible can be made possible, with a little hope,” Moriko smiled, brushing a strand of hair back from her face and taking a moment to admire Ryuu’s unfettered hair once more. “It takes the hardest heart of stone to not find some joy today.” She cashed in her drink voucher, offering her Spider companion both the cookies and the candies.

"Oh," she blinked when offered and then raised her hand with a small smile, "naaah, but thank you, Asahina-sama."

She gave a glance to Ichika to see if she wanted to bird.

"Actually, I was thinking of giving the games here try! How are they like? Got any tips on the good ones?"

Fusako wasn't certain if the three offers applied here, but it was a casual enough setting and answer that she just shrugged the refusal away. "Oh I got all these from the pull game, as it were. Nothing fancy to it, but it was serviceable."

She paused, grinning just a bit and holding the otori plush out again. "Are you certain Hiruma-san? I wouldn't let anyone know the Menace took it. Otherwise, perhaps you Ichika-san?"

Not seeing who she was looking for yet, Shixuku waved and headed over to Tsugiharu. "Kuchiki-san, good evening! How have the last few days been for you?"

It had been a bit difficult for Hayato to pick which part of the festival to spend his time in. A quick spin of fortunes wheel had given him a diffrection though. He was dressed in a light yukata that at least was a nod in the direction of his clans colors. It had most likely been meant for a Dragon, but finding clothing in Mantis colors on a Phoenix planet was a little bit difficult at best.

It was the games that had caught his attention more then anything at the moment. The Shooting game in particular. Though he had no real interest in the big prize and spent his time aiming at the lesser prizes. Likely to the relief of the vendor if he had heard anything about the tsuruchi's skill.
