The katana was flourished, then quickly sheathed. He looked to Moriko as she formulated her plan. "As you wish, Moriko-san." There was a hint of a smile, then when Hoshiko asked, he nodded.

"That is very kind of you, Shiba-san."

Moriko was tense, there was something Ryuu wasn't telling her. They all knew the parable of the scorpion and the frog; scorpions gotta scorpion and spiders gotta spider, but surely there was something more than that in Ryuu's willingness to unceremoniously dispatch a samurai whose disappearance would cause considerable turbulence on Asakaze. Entrusting him to her twin's tender care, Moriko made her way around the altar, unbinding Saneyuki's shackles and rolling him onto his side.

She called on the water kami to heal the Spider. They moved slower than they had for her and her sister.

"I hope that helps." she smiled sheepishly.

Stepping away, she began to look around, trying to get a better understanding of what the elders had intended.
