Hayato had placed the reservation the night before, it was after all quite important to prepare in advance. He even had sprung for the drink vouchers, no reason to hold back right?

The lobby was still empty of his expected guests? Were they guests? Probably friends might be closer to the truth. Nit that semantics mattered much while you were waiting for others to arrive.

Moshi Atena arrived wearing her uniform. Her arm was still wrapped in bandages and she really needed a good time and perhaps Hayato didn't know that she was involved in the death of the Crab. She looked a the Tsuruchi and gave a him a wry smile. "Konbanwa Tsuruchi san."

"Moshi-san." He offered the young woman a polite bow. "How are you this evening? Feeling well?" He asked eyes drifting towards her bandages.

"Ah... Hai" She nodded. She looked at her bandaged arm. "I still live, Tsuruchi san." She lowered her head. "I think I was in a battle last night."

He heard about the battle, or at least passing rumors of it. "Were you on that river boat last night? The one that someone died on?" Hayato asked a touch of concern in his eyes.

"Hai..." She nodded. "I am pretty sure of that. I think something bit me... and it was big..." She looked at her arm. "But by what I read in my densai Kuchiki Tsugiharu san healed most of my wounds."

"Ah, that was kind of him." He hadn't thought the man would do something like that. "It seems you get along well with Kuchiki-san?"

"Hai... he is a good friend, so was Kuni Koryn san. May his soul be reborn..." She looked at the Tsuruchi. "I thank you for doing this Tsuruchi san... I think I need a distraction from all this madness."

"Well, I'm happy to help " Even if it hadn't been the initial plan. "I think all of us can use some time to just have fun and not think too much about the misi."

"Anooo... Will it be just you and me?" She looked around searching if someone else was going to be there.

"Doji Ichika should be arriving with a friend." He glanced down to check his watch. "I guess they are just running a little wait."

"If they don't make it, just makes more singing for us though."

"Doji san and a friend?" She wondered. "Maybe she'll bring that nice Daidoji... or maybe a prospect for you." She stuck her tongue out just to mock the Tsuruchi.

How do you know Doji-san isn't a prospect." He offered sticking his tongue out in return. "Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing who she asked."

Dressed in her kimono Ichika had sent Shoan a message, seeing if she was up for a evening of some nice Karaoke with a few others she'd recently come to know. Standing outside she waited for Shoan before together they'd walk to find Hayato and Atena in their room for the evening.

“Doji-san, you look very well. I hope the miai has been progressing well? I have heard your name repeated quite often.”
She bows politely before they walk to the room
“I’m quite interested in these other samurai I haven’t met many of those present and it will be pleasant to see some unfamiliar faces.”

"They're both really nice, I'm certain you'll like them Ikoma-san!' she said with a smile, tilting her head a little as she regarded Shoan for a moment. Turning a little, to walk together toward the room, she took the chance before they joined the others, "You've been hearing about me?" she asked, that leading curiosity to her tone.

“Hmm?”
She glances over
“Oh, yes. All good things, that you’re a font of compassion, that you’re likeable that you’ve got a nice-“

"From what you told me the other day... or was it yesterday." She looked at her densai. "Yep... I should get a holorecorder... it is better than just keeping a journal." She sighed.

"You can always borrow mine if you want." Hayato offered with a shrug. "I'm not really using it much at the moment anyways."

When the Crane and Lion entered the building, they would be shown to room two by the attendant, where the pair of Mantis were waiting for them.

"A nice sense of duty Ikoma-san?" she said, giggling into her sleeve as she stopped by the door. Just outside she passed one more question, "Who was speaking of my sense of duty?" she giggled again, a short two-note kind of giggle.
