"History uh? That's quite interesting. Could you tell me the story of this planet's colonization? From my understanding, people first came here quite a long time ago through the ship who is now a sacred place in the forest..."

"Hai. A team of Imperial Explorers in 2926. It was 107 years until my clan and the Osprey were given rights and then able to settle here. We know the planet was hit long ago by an asteroid, which caused the many satellites and possibly the moon." He sits down against a table as he gets a little more comfortable. "Shiro Yoake was settled first, as it was closest to original coordinates, and had less of the megafauna. Shiro Shiokaze was second, soon after, as earning the ocean's bounty quickly became important. Then after further exploration Shiro Tasogare and Shiro Samidare respectively."

He shrugs lightly, "Truthfully, it's not been settled even as long as it was known to the Imperial Explorers. 91 years now? We've come along way, due to our knowledge of planet settling, but each planet is its own set of challenges."

"On one hand it's impressive what was achieved in a small century. On the other I assume this means the planet is still mysterious on most aspects? Like we barely understand the flora and the fauna except for a few domesticated species?"

"Hai, a lot of mystery left. We do a lot of cataloging. My friend Asako Chiruha-sama especially."

"Oh I think I've heard of her. The governor's daughter isn't it?

Well admittedly, I only know of her as that girl half the bigwigs are trying to woo. How is she as an actual person?"

"Kind. Very focused on gaining a better understanding of the planet and the life that lives here. Likely spends more time outdoors then nearly any other Asako Loremaster, yet still finds time to run or co-run a number of organizations. Keeping up with her energy is difficult for the well-rested, let alone the well-caffeinated." He nods firmly. "She's made a good effort at getting the newest generation focused on understanding the world we're living on, to good benefit."

Akemi nodded:

"She seems like a great girl. Hope she finds a good suitor.

Out of curiosity, do you have your eyes on someone yourself? The miai has brought in quite the number of different people, and I think at least a few of them are fellow researchers?"

He frowns slightly, "No, no one in particular as of yet. I'm hoping to share some music soon, and maybe a shared passion in that would be useful to us both, whomever that might end up being."

"Well, the miai is far from over, and you've got the advantage of playing at home, so no hurry."

Akemi's communicator vibrated and she looked at it. The message was just the words Bike ready.

"If you'll excuse me Asako-sama, I'm expected somewhere else."

She bowed, quickly gathered her stuff and walked out.
