Nishida nodded. "She seems intersting. Would it be to much if you could hand her this?" he took out a holoslate with his informations. "I would wish to meet her someday in the coming days, if she wants to"

“Uhh, sure. Next time I see her, I’ll pass it on to her.” Oh no, was Hide going to have to visit the dreaded library? Maybe she could catch Nozomi in the commons... “Any other requests?”

"No, of course not" he said with a smile. "Do you need any help with your training?"

“Nah, pretty sure I’m just gonna do some cardio for a bit. Treadmill an’ all. Sure beats running outside this time of day.” Hide motioned towards the general direction of the door. “I hate the weather here.”

"It sure is, i'm a bit acclimated to it, the Green Carp is pretty hot most of the time too, but not as much as this dry rock"

“You think this place is dry? The air is so much more moist than I have been conditioned for!” Hide couldn’t imagine a place more humid than this horrid planet.

"So i guess you've never been on the Green Carp before?"

“Nope! I’ve been to a lot of places, but never the Green Carp. Do I dare ask how it compares?”

He chukled "Compared to my home this place is like a desert. There's a giant jungle on the Green Carp, filled with beasts and monsters beyond your imagination. It's really dangerous outside the hive cities walls. Also as i mentioned the climate is hot and humid. We also have a month in wich the whole planet is showered in a warm rain.The sewage system has been optimized over the centuries to withstand it, but you don't want to know what's there during the dry season. " he let out a small sigh. "I kinda miss it"

“I bet it doesn’t smell like decay like this place does.” Hide’s nose scrunched up as she thought about the putrid scent. “I’m beginning to really hate mushrooms.”

"You hate them? Have you ever heard about Mushin?" he asked.

“Mu...shin?” Hide tilted her head to the side, trying to place that word. But, of course, she had spent a little bit of time in Crab space for the betrothal process involving her brother and a Hiruma. “It’s like a parasite, yeah?”

"Yes. That's a kind of mushroom you want to avoid. The Crab lost an entire planet to it."

Hide made a distinctly disgusted face at that. “As if I didn’t already want to set all fungi on fire...”

"Yeah, but it's unlikely to be here, and as long as you don't get attacked by them you're good"

“They attack?” Hide looked quite alarmed, she had assumed they were just parasites! “What do they look like?”

"I don't,... well you asked,... they take over the body they infest, ending up similar to the resurrected dead. When they attack they might infest said person, carrying over the infection. This makes it hard to fight against, hence why we lost a planet" he explained.

"But that's not exactly a courtly matter to discuss"
