It seemed for all her reverie in her dance, said Crane was quite attentive still. That didn't mean she stopped dancing of course, continuing right with the thumping club beat. Her clear blue eyes seemed to find him and stare a moment, judging. Not in a negative way, but as if assessing. When she spoke up, it was just loud enough to be heard over the loud music. "And what of the the grace of the Spider? One hundred and ten percent dear, show me..."

"A candle may never outshine the Sun, no matter how hotly it might burn." he countered. Though he did put his full effort into it, the grandest of the demons, Orokos no Oni said no wild explosions for you.

She observed in silence for a long moment, face impassive in its scrutiny. Finally she gave a nod and a twist of her hips, swaying a bit closer to continue dancing. "I am hardly an artisan, you do your pride quite well enough. Asahina Fusako dear, professional sun it seems."

He was certainly not going to move away or stop dancing.

"Then it would seem that I am, Kuchiki Tsugiharu, burnt candle." he said with a bit of a smile. "But to dance with you, one would consider that to be a fair price."

She tisked softly, but allowed herself a wisp of a smirk. "You know, all it takes is one little tip for the candle to fall over and share its flame with the rest of the world. A fair bit more exciting than snuffing out so soon."

Her eyes flitted to the bar for just a moment before going back to her dance partner, wondering if anyone else had the boldness to let their body express itself.

Shion looked at the Crane and the Spider dancing - she more ably than him - and chit-chatting, and smirked as she imagined the Miai talk going on.

She looked around. Maybe she should hit the dance floor for a bit. She wasn't one for being the centre of attention much... not unless she was playing something. Wasn't eager for pushiness in the dance floor either. But... she did like to dance, and the rhythm was nice.

Maybe after the Sweet Lies, she thought as she took another sip, trying to taste the bitter mushroom among all the sugar as she kept observing the couple on the dance floor for some more time.

"So sing the fire kami. Brighter and hotter they burn without a thought for tomorrow. Much like a dancer completely and totally in the moment." he returned.

He glanced back to the bar, but it seemed the Unicorn still held the Sparrow and Scorpion firmly within his orbit.

She didn't glance away again even once. The dance floor had her attention, and those on it. "Mmm, I don't plan on snuffing out any time soon. So much flame... a shugenja perhaps?"

Ruhe of course registered the appearance of the phenomenal Crane but for now stayed with his attention on drinks and conversation. He downed another one quickly, however, and his fellow musician asked a question then made him consider joining the dancing crowd. "Getting a stage here would be a blast, but for now it seems all we have is a dance floor. Can get some emotion out of it, so I think I will. Care to join in?"

Finishing her second drink, the Sparrow shrugs. "Well... maybe we can do that. Let's see. But for now... "

She looks at the dance floor again, then at the Bayushi. "Well, why not", she says, shrugging slightly. "Bayushi-sama, will you join us too?", she says with a small smile.

Ruhe waited for the Scorpion's answer, but once having it, he'd move to the dance floor with a gait that wasn't short of transformative. Releasing his hair from a not to flow freely in a black canopy, momentarily, the large man got endowed with a charisma of motion derived from his confidence and preformative instinct, ready to dismiss all convictions of metal heads being only good with head-banging. Here came the Moto stage beast. He swept into the vibe as if riding a cresting wave, adding his own throaty melodic hum to the dominant music, and began... the moves of power.

Even if it wasn't the point, he easily outperformed the Crane, not paying too much attention to her, focusing more on his dancing partner or partners from the bar. Guess having a drink or two before hitting the dance floor wasn't that bad an idea after all.

"Probably a digital illustrator of some sort. I'm definitely going to expand my portfolio while I'm here but.... nevermind. Let's dance!"

She gets up and downs her Blazing Tail before hopping off of her stool and joining the rest, which was probably not a wise idea as there's already a slight buzzing in her ears but by some miracle her frenzied movements manage to sync to the beat of the music fairly well. Of course, she's nowhere near the spectacle that is the the Moto metalhead as he even perhaps outperforms the Crane.

"Nice moves, Ruhe-san! Where'd you learn those?"

"Not my first club night, Tsukiko-san, but it mostly comes from within!" He pounded his chest, and then briefly made a whirlwind out of his hair. "You're doing great yourself!"

He nodded.

"Hai and a medical researcher to boot. I'm a much better doctor than dancer." he said.

He noticed the others make their way on to the dance floor and letting loose.

Then he looked back at the Crane with an unspoken, 110%?

The Suzume's eyes seem a bit less shiny when the Bayushi mentions illustration instead of music, but she still seems interested.

But well, it is time for dancing instead. She raises her brow and smiles on seeing Tsukiko's and especially the Moto's performance, her eyes only half-hiding her surprise at the Metalhead's moves. Finishing her drink as she watches them, she then moves to the dance floor as well, first just walking, then trying to feel in tune with the rhythm... but she's much too surprised by her companion's moves and ends up just moving without much grace for now, more watching the others than actually dancing.

She gave a small nod to Tsugiharu at his confirmation. It was quite interesting enough truth told, but the dance floor made for a loud and busy conversation. "Not bad for a doctor, no.

Fusako's attention went to Ruho as he danced. He was quite skilled indeed. It was captivating...

Seeing Shion wasn't quite in the groove yet, Ruhe offered her his hand in dance should she wish to be led.

"Oh... I was enjoying your show, Moto-sama. Wouldn't want to hold you back", she says faintly, a bit shyly.

The music was good, but for some reason she just wasn't getting in sync. Well... wasn't used to dancing close to so many Great Clan samurai. Maybe that was it...

"My thinking is it should be fun for all of us. I ain't the navel-gazer to think you'd be holding anyone back. Sure you don't want to give it a try?" He didn't press, just honestly offered.

The DJ was just changing tunes as he said that, so she tried. She let the beat sink in, tried to tune in to it again, tapping her foot and moving her head as the new song started.

"Well, I suppose I should give it a try", she said with a small smile.

No hand touching for now, though, she just tried to sync her steps with his.... but not long after she starts, she stumbles, narrowly avoiding a fall, and gives up.

"Ah... sorry Moto-sama.", she says, head down, looking shyly at the Bayushi and the Crane in the dance floor. "I... I think I'll go for another drink."
