Tsugiharu smiled a bit at that.

"Well, in fairness, they have invested quite a bit of resources in to you over the years, Daidoji-san. Food, clothes, training, medical care and more. They would probably like to see some return on that investment. But I would hope that your own preferences play a part in their calculations. I'm sure you will serve to the best of your capability regardless, but well, if someone forges a fine steel sword, it makes little sense to use it as a hammer, though it could serve as such." he offered.

"Yes," she acknowledges simply. "Though I've occasionally seen swords be mistaken for hammers and used that way until they break. Then everyone's confused that it happened. Not my case, but you get the idea."

She shrugged. "Anyway, I should be going." She rose and bowed. "I look forward to our next meeting."

He bowed to the Crane.
