"I'd be happy to sign it!" Nara said, taking another big sip of her drink before she added "I have no idea when swimming is. I just thought it would be better to be ready for it, because otherwise I'll have to be naked or something and that might be awkward. Makes sense, ne?" she grinned.

He shrugged.

"Just be like the rest of the perverts here and go to the bath house with the people you want to marry. Don't need a bathing suit for that."

Nara blinked.

"Why? Is it important to know the bathing methods of future spouses?"

"Yep", he said and drained the last of the drink, face completely contorting. "Fuckin' brainfreeze...tsk..."

he tossed it in the trash, looking uncomfortable, slightly pained.

Nara stood there, in complete silence, looking at Shokomaru intently. Not even drinking her drink, just staring at him.

He hit himself on the top of the head a bit, as if it would help. Though quickly he let out a breath, looking relieved.

Seeing Nara, he scowled.

"Never seen a guy get brainfreeze before?"

Nara shook her head.

"I've seen it, but I wanted to wait for your brain to be unfrozen before I asked why it was important."

His eyes narrowed. "Why what is important?"

"Knowing the bathing methods of future spouses. Like, if they wash the wrong parts first is that a bad sign for marriage? Or if they don't wash their hair right?"

It was hard to tell sometimes, but Nara did seem serious...

He listened and nodded like he was expecting something else, the knowing look betraying a response that was going to quip and quip hard.

Then he laughed.

"No...you know what? I'll be blunt, because why not?" he faced her and smirked. "they want to ogle naked bodies and not get in trouble for it, pretending like they're all civilized." He shrugged. "Not that I can blame them, there are some good looking people here."

"Oh."

Nara blinked, and then frowned.

"Daigotsu-sama is my superior, so I will not say what he should or shouldn't do, but there is more to a person than their body."

"Now you're clearly getting it", he rolled his eyes. "I feel like you're actually listening to me instead of just taking it in a different direction."

He started walking.

"Come on, I'll walk you to where ever you're going next."

"I always listen. I just don't always understand" Nara said with a small pout, following along and finally taking a sip of her drink.

"I don't know where I'm going next. Maybe back to the inn to drop these swimsuits off."

"I haven't taken a look at it yet, but maybe that'll be another time", he said to excuse her early from inviting him in. "Have some other things coming up today. How about you?"

"Hmm...I don't remember. I have some things to do I'm sure, and I've already taken much of Daigotsu-samas busybusybusytime, so I can't expect to take more!" Nara said with a smile "so, I can let Daigotsu-sama return to planning the future!"

"Hai, hai", he said monotone, hands in his pockets as he trudged along with Nara. "And a glorious future it is, full of aliens, danger, and naps."

He yawned.

"I like those last two more. Just not at the same time" Nara said with a grin, bowing deeply to Shokomaru "I hope you have a lovely rest!"

"I wouldn't count on it", he returned her bow. "Stay out of trouble."

And he huffed it down the street. He only looked at the picture he'd taken on his comm a few times. His sister was done for.

"I will!"

Nara let her superior move off first, before happily moving back to the inn.
