His love luck was supposed to be good today, he should of expected it to turn out this way. "I guess we just need to figure out if it's good luck or not then?" He asked raising a curious brow.

"Hmm... I suppose that makes sense i just didn't know if there was any superstition about it." The Mantis at least could be a superstitious lost. "I suppose it works out like the nick names alot of us in the Rangers get over time."

"I suppose we shall." It didn't occur to her why it would be bad luck for two wasps to be in the same room, but maybe there was some ancient Tsuruchi superstition she didn't know?

"Oh? What sort of nicknames do you give eachothers? Embarrassing ones, or cool-sounding ones?"

Their drinks came first, and she calmly picked up her iced coffee, but waited a bit with drinking.

There wasn't, but you coukd never tell what might happen when two different breeds of wasps came together.

"A bit of both? One of the men in my squad is called termite for example. He has quite the prominent front teeth " His hand came up to point out his own two teeth "he earned it after he asked a young woman out at a bar, and she told him there was no way she was dating a man who looked like a termite."

He picked up his own black coffee when it arrived, bringing it up towards his lips and blowing on it, perhaps in a effort to cool it.

She could at least hide her small smile behind the cup as she took a sip herself. She wouldn't have wanted to date a man like that either.

"Well then, I am curious what they call you. If I must guess, I want to have at least some options to choose from..."

"We'd have to agree on stakes too. Anything strike your fancy?" He asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"As for options though." There should be one freebie right? "Termite, Coins, Silver, and Slim."

"Hm, I am willing to agree on low stakes, such as the cost of this lunch. Or the next date. If I guess correctly, that is." She smirked, indicating that a next date could be likely.

Well, she knew it wasn't Termite. So that left Coins, Silver, and Slim. Hmmmmmmm... he kind of had a slim build, but nothing that really made her think that it was his callsign. And then she knew that sometimes those kind of names could be subverting expectations. Ladybug on her team wasn't exactly a Lady... kind of far from it.

"Silver?" she guessed, more or less a coin toss between that and Coins.

"Mmm... I am already convering the tab of the next date, so how you plan it if you miss?" It sounded like an easy enough wager. Plus it might give him an idea as to her tastes rather then just a stab in the dark.

"Coins." He replied with an amused smile. "I come from money, and I'm rather free with i, One of the said one day that I kinda came off like a vendign machine. But that was far too long for a nickname so they shortened to to coins." He chuckled softly. "It stuck as it were."

"Ah... so we both missed." She gave a wry smirk, finding it a bit ironic that they had both guessed wrong. That he was wealthy was a perk, but it was an added perk to his otherwise good score so far.

"Maybe I should have thought about the stakes more. I admit that I don't really gamble, so it's not often I have to consider such bets except for who is doing a less than pleasant task, or buying the next round of drinks."

"Maybe." He flashed a grin. "Our wager here was a bit impromptu though. If we want to figure out another, stakes can be discussed more in depth."

He chuckled. "Though i admit im nkt much of a gambler either, so it might take a bit to figure out what to bet about. Well, even if we want to go that route."

"If we do, yes," she said neutrally and their food arrived.

"Well, this looks good." She gave both their foods an inspecting look, more out of idle curiosity than anything else. "Huh, all vegetarian for you?"

She said if, but the Utaku seemed almost as interested in amusing little wagers as he did. So the Mantis at least would begin preparing for the next match.

"Yeah. It sounded good." A mushroom planet would likely have tasty mushrooms too. "And after your squad mate had me try some sort of mystery meat the other night, I grew a bit wary of what might actually be fried."

"Oh? Cricket made you do that?" She raised an eyebrow, half-worried if she should be concerned about what sort of antics Yul was up to. "... But was it good though?"

Maybe he wasn't very adventurous when it came to food...?

"It was good, I just like to know what is it I'm eating." He smirked, and chuckled softly. "You would think after some of the things I've eaten in the fields I wouldn't mind it much."

"But if a fella is going to be eating bugs, he at least wants to know, right?"

"Oh? Bugs are worse than chicken, or fish?" she smirked and took bite out of her own sandwich. Maybe it was true that Unicorn ate all sorts of weird stuff!

"Depends on the bugs?" Some were worse then others. "As well as who is cooking I suppose. Some people can make a mess out of even the best of ingredients."

He picked up his sandwich and took a bit, pausing a moment to eat before continuing. "We try to make sure those don't get mess duty, still its wise to bring extra hot sauce just in case."

"Mm," she nodded, chewing. Continuing after swallowing. The sandwich was tasty at least.

"Always nice to have some hot sauce to drown out the bad taste. Not that this is bad though - very good actually. Wanna try?"

"Sure." It seemed like a very dste thing to do at least. Shifting his plate in her direction he gestured towards it. "Though it only seems fair that I make the same offer."

That it was a date-thing was what was going through her mind for the offer. It was a tactical strike!

"Fair enough. I accept. But you first." Now how did they do this in the movies...? she offered a bit of the sandwich. "Say 'aaah'..."

That caused him to raise an eyebrow, maybe the Utaku was more of a romantic then he gave her credit for.

Still it didn't seem the type of thing to refuse he leaned forward and opened his mouth. "Ahhh..." He muttered trying hard not to laugh.

The sandwich was extended enough for him to take a bite, and jerked back enough to make it easier for him to bite off a piece.
