Oh no. Oh no. Hide’s mind could not handle the mental processes that went into imagine how she’d get Mumei in such a state. All that she could even do was turn progressively redder and redder as she stared off at some brightly patterned vest displayed on the wall.

Mumei may have killed her.

"Well, yes, if the Wisteria Inn were smaller we would be sleeping in bunks together." Jin replied missing the beat, apparently. "I'm a sound sleeper though, so no worries from me." He made finger guns at Mumei as reassurance.

"Well, scarves look good?" He asked uncertainly.

"With those tiny rooms, sound sleeper is a useful trait." She doesn't make anything more of the casual point flying over his head. "And if you're inside, I guess a scarf won't hurt. They can look dashing, very useful dance prop."

She glances back at the paralyzed Lion. 'You ok, Hide-sama?" She glances at the scarves, picking up a flashing bit of gold lamé and clattering, glitter-drenched beads. "I mean, this one is kind of an atrocity." She tosses it to the Matsu. "Hide it under that vest display, I wouldn't want anyone to accidentally leave with that."

Said Matsu suddenly felt the beaded scarf hit her square in the face, which then slipped off her face and fell gently in her arms. "Huh? Wait what?"

Hide was most assuredly still distracted.

Mumei points, "Just tuck it under that blue vest to hide it. It's hideous, isn't it?"

"Sorry for smacking you in the fact with it. I thought Matsu reflexes would be better than that." There's definitely some laughter being the words.

"Yeah, that one looked...funny." He glanced to Hide. "Do you want something to drink, or? Hide-san?" He looked concerned. "Oh, by the way, do you guys see something you like?"

Hide not-so-delicately placed the ugly scarf behind the gaudy vest display. They needed to prevent the Jins in this world from making a fatal mistake, after all. “Maybe... A drink would be good.”

Mumei 'dances' with a display outfit on connected hangers. A striking set of hakama with understated top and drapey scarf. "This one moves well, doesn't set off warning bells."

She leans to the side around the 'dance partner' she's holding upright and asks Hide. "What do you think?...Oh wait." Straightening, she turns the outfit around so the front is visible. "There."

Hide may have been slightly distracted by Mumei’s movements. The way her body twisted and turned, Hide’s eyes were glued to her. Upon hearing her name, Hide looked up, a bit startled. “Huh? Oh, yeah... Looks pretty good!”
