I'm a huge fan of this since is makes things also easy for the GM when checking Event-rolls. :D

Just a note, if you're trying to figure out who to consider from a clan perspective, the GMs wrote a useful primer here:

Not that you have to consider it, of course; personal preference is a thing, and alliances probably won't be made or broken by a single marriage. Just something to keep in mind if you are concerned about it.
