He smiles and grabs his medical kit, "I am more then happy to help anyone I can, that is part of the job right?"

He pauses and checks his priorities "Oh Food!" He smiles and accepts the plate from the Doji

Koryn at least was a good kid.

Alas, a kid though. But a good one. Given a couple of more years, he would probably draw some eyes.

"Hmm... I was thinking maybe some pastels. It would go well with your skintone and hair. Maybe like a frosty pastel-rainbow... hm, or something more Crane." Hyeon-ju studied Ichika's face like an artist studying a blank canvas. "... Do you ever change your eye-patch out? Or like, dress it up? Give it a little flair?"

Watching Hyeon-ju as she thought and worked out what to do, Ichika was happily wearing a soft smile. A little raise to both her eyebrows, which lowered when she was asked about the eye-patch, "O-oh, uhm," she paused a moment, shook her head, "no, I've.. never really thought to do that, Utaku-san."

"Though.." she tapped the table softly, "I could see how maybe that might be nice too. I like the pastels idea though," she said, bringing her hand up and laughing lightly into it.

"Ah excellent. Glad you like it," she nodded approvingly that Ichika seemed to like the idea of pastels.

"I think you shouldn't be ashamed of dressing it up a bit though," Hyeon-ju made a gesture over her eye, the same one that Ichika had covered up. "Embrace it, making it a statement - anything can be fashionable. Something simple as merely changing it out to match the color of your outfit, or to go with the same colors as your makeup... or you could even have a theme to follow from your hair-accessories to it."

"You know a lot more about this kinda stuff than I thought you would Utaku-san," she giggled, covering it up with a hand. Before anything else Ichika dipped her head as a means of apology for the humor.

"I.." she touched her eye-patch, "I hadn't really thought of that. They don't usually make these to be all that fashionable normally but we'll," she let her hand come back down and smiled. "I'll have to see what I can do!" she smiled brightly.

Koryn pipes up, "Actually in Crab lands there is a whole line of fashionable eye patches, and hooks, and wooden legs, so many people lose them fighting the enemy that Kaiu Fleshcrafters specialize in designer augmentations."

"It is no offense, Doji-san. Most don't assume that a Unicorn, or a pilot, to have an interest or eye for fashion." She actually gave a little wink at that, as a little touch of humor herself.

Koryn's words made her nod. "Yeah... the Crab have really embraced that losses of limbs and body parts is often a part of a samurai's life, and that there is no shame in it." Though she wasn't personally a fan of fleshcrafts herself, she did appriciate the efficiency of having one.

To her, it didn't matter why Ichika wore her eyepatch, but Hyeon-ju very much cared about making it look better on her.

"Really?" she asked, a touch of incredulity to her voice. "My.." she shook her head. "Well, I always thought it kinda.. " she shook her head again.

"Maybe I really could look nicer with a well made eye-patch," she said, then chuckled a little. Pepping up, "Yea! I'll have to get one sometime," she said, smile beaming.

Hyeon-ju ate quickly and efficiently, like a soldier used to not wasting time on such simple tasks. There was no spillage or sloppy in her methods though, which probably came from experience in avoiding spills in Zero-R environs.

"This is good food, Doji-san. A pity that Daigotsu-san is missing out on this."

Ichika was slower, certainly, because she learned to eat in a Crane household manners over everything else but pretty fast in her own right. When Hyeon-ju commented she was just about caught up, finishing the last bite and then setting aside her plate and utensils neatly before replying.

"Thank you Utaku-san," she dipped her head. Glancing over toward Ryuu's bed, "Yea.." looking back, a smile. "Next time though," she nodded confident in this fact.

"Well then! Let's put on some warpaint," normally very reserved and carefully neutral in her tone, Hyeon-ju actually seemed excited about getting to put some makeup on Ichika.

"Yea!" she said, a little pump of excitement. Shifting over she looked to Hyeon-ju with a bright smile, "I'm your canvas, Utaku-san!" she chuckled lightly into the knuckles on her hand.

Hyeon-ju cleared away her own plate. "Thank you for the meal."

And then returned with her kit again. Colorful palettes, recognizable things like eyeliner, mascara, and lip-colors... and she seemed to have a unicorn-themed set of makeup brushes as well.

"How much do you usually do with makeup yourself? Just liner and mascara? Any lipstick?" she asked as she was picking up a primer to start with.

Koryn was about to recieve an information overload on all things makeup.

"Something light with a bit of gloss, and yea," she said, on the last question. Nodding her head, wide-eyed as she looked at everything Hyeon-ju had. A subtle, "Wow" slipped passed her lips as she took it all in. Was certainly far more than she'd expected the woman to have, for sure. "I also use a bit of blush, just a little.." she said, sliding on over a little bit closer.

The Utaku did seem to like makeup, judging by her collection... and she probably didn't travel with all of it either.

"I will be touching your face, if that's alright, Doji-san?" Still one must be polite. "Since you don't use much, I'll do a very soft look... otherwise it will look very extreme from how you normally present yourself."

"Okay!" she said, happily. Nodding, "Mmm, mhm, it's okay Utaku-san. I'm ready, how do you want me to sit?" she asked, tilting her head to the right and raising a brow.

"Just... be comfortable, and keep your head straight, yes? Be relaxed." She said, keeping her tone relaxed as well to make it seem less like an order.

"Mmm," she said, a soft smile, shifting to make sure she could maintain that. "Ok," she inhaled deep, exhaled and her lips settled into a smile. "Ready."

At least the start was easy enough, and actually kind of relaxing, as Hyeon-ju picked up a pair of cotton pads from a container that kept them hydrated with micellar water. "I'm just going to start with wiping your skin clean, in the same way that a painter prepares a canvas before they begin painting."

The soft cotton sweeped over the skin in gentle motions, and her voice was even kind of soothing in the way she spoke.

"Mmm," she said, giving a quick nod before she started. Watching as she could when Hyeon-ju began, as she was rather observant of the fact that it was easier so long as she kept more or less still. Still though, she wore her little smile as she enjoyed the moment for what it was.
